What's wrong with Bioware whoring themselves out to their "true fans" who want nothing more than to experience the romance they can't or don't have in real life? As long as it makes them at least SOME money so that the sinking ship that ist SWTOR isn't sinking any further... or faster.

Or MMO for that matter if bioware has to implement romanceable NPCs for them.

Isn't TOR build around single player campaign? If they give you quest line to beat why not sex slaves romancable NPC companions?

I wouldn't be surprised if Bioware is developing mechanical vaginas that plug into your PC/console for their fans.

    Repaired.

    Ditto.

Other people would probably just think they're attacked by a pink shoggoth and run away.

Companions. They're adding new companions. Who you can romance.

    Maybe, I guess?

Hilariously, the romances are just with NPCs during end game content. No companions. Apparently it's too much work.

We cut content because the game was tanking so badly so we had to rush it into F2P-mode. But have no fear, the cut stuff will be included in the next expansion, if EA allows us to keep throwing money into this black hole!

    ( : x ):
I'm reminded of the decline of the protagonist of "Nic Śmiesznego", who started up with aspirations and ended up making porn flicks (and then "decapitated" with a rubber boot, but that's another story) - I wonder if that's how some of the more prominent biowhores feel like.

As soon as George Lucas gives up the Star Wars franchise, Bioware adds gay sex. Guess Lucas really did hate the gays.

David Gaider makes a blog post about what a shithole the BSN is.

    BSN's response.

    :hero:
Yes, there's nothing worse in humanity than a person who hopes BioWare feels bad about making bad games.

It's worth reading the rest of the thread to watch one of the Biodrones completely lose his shit.

Where is this large amount of free DLC they've been pumping out? Aside from the "Extended Ending?"

Why am I even asking a pointless question?

S/he is referring to the "free" multiplayer DLC that while technically free, is only free because of microtransactions and online pass.

I would have uploaded 2 more but for some reason they wouldn't load. Oh well.

Also a response on the creator being questioned for some Dragon Age material
"ozuge asked: Hey, could you do anything Dragon Age related? Your work is magnificent, and I'd really like to see how you'd do Merril or anyone else from that game.
ME2’s engine is just Unreal Engine 3. Dragon Age one and two both use engines developed in-house by Bioware. So… A very few models from DA ported to Source engine."

And many Biowhores killed themselves that day.

There's massive ITer butthurt on the BSN right now over Priestly locking their thread and banning discussion of it in the threads.

It's amazing how stupid the Biodrones are, both sides. But it's not unique. Lots of official forums are shit, like Bethesda and Beamdog, but it does tend to concentrate in rpg-ish genres. Other communities can have just as many complaints but tend to look to each other to 'fix' it instead of the polarity of unjustied praise vs unrequited rage.

Then again, when the active (and activist) semi-official spokesperson is someone like Davyd Gaider, you can't really expect a reasonable discussion to filter out through his snark and sneer.

I don't. They provide me with such good entertainment and also reminds me, in my darkest moments, that I'm not as bad as they are.

Thank god for the BioWare Social Club.

I thank you for the welcome. I've lurked at these boards for a long time; I guess I should migrate here. The BSN and Bioware feels lika a lost cause; which is kind of sad. I really enjoyed some games they made, once upon a time.

    Massive thread, by the way.

  25. Thankfully Core fans are far outnumbered by the new fans.

What really backfired was not the backlash from core fans or anything. It was plain dumb word of mouth and DA:O fans (most of who never touched BG) revolting(ly).
