I wonder if that scene would change a lot if the background music was in fact nyancat.

Why is it in the GD, and what happened to, press X for Jaesun, post?

So we have HW like crap with a small boy. And a nice Sp who was discharged for something, to have a prison...
Honestly that's quite bad as movies go. I seen better movies, for example that one with these eels in the vagina.

Haven't we already done that for past BioWare games?

I mean, the song works perfectly with BioWare games, but I am wondering if there is another appropriate gay song out there?

Did you notice how it perfectly blends with the fist fight scene?
About your question, the whole Village People discography, especially in the navy.

Yeah, that works much better. Also, that could be used as a better soundtrack for the "omg! kid died" scene from a perspective of character development - as some dude in mind-melting quotes earlier said, "Shepard has seen so much crap", well, that'd be a great way to indicate it - tons of people dying left and right, and in his head, Shepard's soundtrack to all this tragedy is Nyancat, or something equally inane. That can deliver a much more potent message than the sob-squeezing piano.

Man, I remember when one reaper almost singlehandedly took out the combined forces of the citadel races, and only died to deus ex machina. Or when one reaper was killed by an ancient civilization with a weapon we cannot hope to fathom and left to orbit a dead star for thousands of years. Now their combined forces can't even destroy one measly planet.

Also, assuming I end up not removing the game from inventory, I swear if I hear one person denying the existence of the reapers in ME3 and there isn't an option to just fucking shoot them, I'm quitting.

Why is everyone so taken in by this obvious emotional pandering bullshit? Do they not realize how crassly they are being manipulated? I mean, most people don't let themselves be fooled by goddamn soap operas or the Emotional Moment of the Week on random primetime shows, so why is it when a game stoops to the standards of sewage-sucking as far as storytelling goes, it's some sort of brilliant work of art?

Oh, boo hoo, a kid died. Well guess what? What if it was an ugly kid? A crosseyed kid with red hair, buck teeth and red, curly hair? Yeah, then you wouldn't be so emotionally affected, would you? Just as I'm sure that piano track, as nice as it is, would make just about any moment sound sad. You are being taken in by con-men, BioWare fans, and you enjoy it. These are the standards we have for videogames? Cheap heartstring-tugging that makes an Archie comic look like a sophisticated commentary on human relationships?

It's incredible that games are apparently so immature a medium with such immature fans, that we have to congratulate them for merely rising to the absolute worst of any other medium with completely tripping over themselves. And even then Mass Effect 3, by any stretch of narrative critique, has about as much credibility as a work of art as a fucking McDonald's commercial.

I consider myself a very compassionate person, but only when comes to real people.
I admit that I almost laughed at that scene.

Your typical biodrone seems to be a kid who think he's deep because he's not a Call of Duty player. Basically, Mass Effect is the emo/goth to Call of Duty's preppy/jock. In other words, they're all just a bunch of kids...

Also, I understand emotional engagement, but the hero that cuts and run after some empty words is not very epic.
Biowarian commentary on the hypocrisy of heroes?

No they aren't. My lab mate, 33 years old, told me today how emotionally engaging ME series is. Good for him, he does not know that I frequent this hive of scum and villainy called 'dex.
