Well at least the graphics look good. Might pick it up at steam sales a day to have something to waste time on when I feel bored.

Seems like it is mandatory to have a waifu following you around in first person games in this day and age.

Also you guys need to not get off on the fact that game journos are down-thumbing Thief 4, which is purely a consequence of marketing stillbirth and not of any quality of the game itself.

Enough with this conspiracy B.S. several AAA-games have received mediocre reviews, they weren't all cases of not being bribed enough or not marketed enough. Fucking confirmational bias.

All the Bioshocks were strictly worse than Thiaf, but they got amazing reviews. Why's that? Could have something to do with the "marketing" budget in the hundreds of millions?

Thief's writing and voice acting is much worse than anything in the Bioshocks.

Well that depends on the eye of the beholder now, doesn't it? Furthermore, bioshock wasn't marketed as "going back to the roots", on the contrary.

Not sure about better, but it will probably be cheaper than Dishonored soon.

I've been playing it a bit and the game runs like dogshit on my war machine. Huge framerate drops even indoors. For the record I can run Metro LL on ultra at 60fps.

In 5 years decliners like you will be saying that about Thiaf too.

And no Bioshit wasn't fun, for any realistic estimation of fun anyway. It was fucking retarded, unredeemable trash and committed offenses far greater than Thiafs cringe-y writing and VO.

Nah it was fun. Played both games twice. Infinite was trash though.

Codex 2014 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy
I found the first Bioshock to a rather thin First-Person Shooter with an interesting setting, premise, characters and story, even though they were all recycled from System Shock 2. Won't ever replay it, though.

Bioshock 2 was just bad, mmkay?

    EDIT: Typo.

Nah Bioshock 2 was an improvement actually. And i plan to replay them for the third time soon. Something about them is really appealing. Gameplay is great too.

Yes i have played both System Shock 1 and 2. They are also great.
