Does TOW even have romances? What's the point of bringing up a companion's sexuality and being so upfront about it?

I don't know if the writing's bad, I just observed that the companions were banal dudes, like in poe.

Which makes me think of the dudes from New Vegas, what happened ?
Count how many of these remain at Obsidian and you'll have your answer.

Who knew that losing your entire writing staff would have repercussions, especially when writing was the only thing you were ever praised for?

Hmn? Did you pass judgment on TOW's writing already?
No. You seem like you have though.

Its seems fine so far, we'll see in couple days but I don't see the context for your post itt. Yeah NV writers were great, shame they lost them etc but what caused you to post that? What repercussions have you noticed? :P

I was replying to someone who was criticizing the writing. Stop being so defensive.

Most of them went on to write for games with shit stories though.
That isn't relevant, because none of the RPG-relevant writers in there (Avellone, Ziets) have had leadership writing positions since.

inb4 "lol what about eric fenstermaker" - he wrote a mess of a mash up story that no one liked and no one wanted to write.

Ah ok, I missed MajorMace's post somehow. Without it your post seemed so out of the blue.

(Note: everyone listed here after Ziets are from Bethesda and didn't actually contribute much. But yeah everyone from Obsidian is gone.)

Travis Stout was the lead writer on Assassin's Creed Unity. Though it's not an RPG and I bet Ubisoft's leadership got in his way of writing a decent story.

I just watched Parvati's quest about helping her with a date. What a cringefest, a mixture of unfunny "jokes" and melodramatic sharing of her feelings with you. The voice acting is cringe too

Hows the performance? Tell me I can play on potato PC bros
From what little I've seen of it the performance is very good. I even tested it on a GT 730 and it was actually playable if youre used to really low end stuff.
