Surprised not to see a thread for it. A very charming adventure/puzzle game, interesting and fun all-round. Great music, nice atmosphere, intruiging plot, well paced gameplay.

Later puzzles lack the quality of the earlier ones, and there are a few too many points in which you're left thinking "what do I have to do now?", but overall there's enough in there to satisfy anyone who likes a bit of murder-mystery.

It's a fun game, yeah. Sadly can't say there's a lot of replayability, unless of course you go looking for secrets and trophies.

Yeah, it's definitely a once-through experience, but surprised not to see it mentioned more on here.

Does a lot of things really well, and deserves a sequel IMO. One which has more C&C and thus more replayability.

Just spent a couple of hours playing this.

Game is great. Good atmosphere, good looks, decent puzzling. Everyone should play it instead of the latest Wadjet Eye bullshuit :shittydog::shittydog::shittydog:

I completed it in a couple of days. And I'm definitely not a fast player.
But, then I spent more than a day getting the last couple of cards... 'cause that's a mess.

I agree with the game being rather simple/straightforward. I still gave it a thumb-up, though -- and I prefer a straightforward game over a frustrating one any day. Art style felt rather unique as well.

I don't know about introductions to genres. I don't even know whether there IS another game like this. I haven't played one, that's for sure.

Holy shit. What a completely depressing ending for a game that was so uplifting and so stylish. Shit. Fuck. Never playing it again :(

Played it and beat when it first came out. It wasn't bad, nice little plot, puzzles were below average for me.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Hey hey i played it. I got it free from some giveaways and i really like it.

The puzzles and hubs are quite bad to be honest. Mostly because walking control is shit and too slow, the puzzles are a bit too easy.

Everything else is great. Soundtrack is awesome. Electro swing is awesome. Atmosphere and style is great and the the little details and stuf like how some events can be heard everyhwere is great.

The ending and plot twist is my favorite part. Totally worth it. Ties up the story very well and is one of the best ending in game ever. All 3 endings are great and meaningful in their own little way.

It's totally worth a playtrough.

I played this for an hour a couple years ago and found it very lackluster. Far from being a murder mystery, it's a game that has murders happen right in front of you. No mystery.

I disliked it for a few reasons:

* Very console-y. The UI is huge and the interface is clunky. The simple act of walking through a door has you bounce off the door frame a few times first. This should not be what draws my attention in a game of this type.

* Despite cultivating a veneer of ingenuity and intelligence, this is a glorified adventure game. You can try a thousand things to stop each crime. There is one (1) solution that actually works. "Put banana peel on floor" "I don't see a floor here" As in all adventure games, instead of using your tools to invent the outcome you want, you have to read the minds of the developers and do the one (1) thing they thought was best. Even a puzzle game provides a system of tangled elements to deconstruct with a set of rules. This isn't puzzles, it's guess and check.

* Electro swing music is obnoxious.

But now I see this thread of unanimous praise from my fellow Codexers. Did I get it wrong? Should I give this another chance?
