That video was extremely fucked up and messed with the emotions of the sims like they're mere playthings.

So in short, it's a perfect Sims game. :troll: Looking forward to more of this.

Yea me too. Hopefully there's more in-work interaction.

It looks exactly like The Sims 3, down to the ridiculous gestures they make during conversations (like swinging and waving their arms all over the place).

Well, it's not really supposed to be a realistic game but I agree on exaggerated part though it's part of the charm.
If conversation shows reserved gestures with very little animation, I expect the Sims' traits or personality to match it.

Huh, I got that same idea with the demonstration on how to build stuff.

Which I have to say looks pretty good: no more need to draw entire rooms by yourself and having to demolish a house if it doesn't work out.

Oh god, the black guy doing voodoo. This is golden!

I'm torn between between letting some faggot libertard rights group know about this and causing EA to come out with it's faux contrite apology statement thus causing many lulz, or forgetting about it because of the possible consequence that it would give the game free publicity. Though since EA would have spent a gazillion dollars on the marketing it probably won't make much of a difference.

They'll just release one of these again

It would be great to see this escalate though.

This emotional state gimmick would only work if you play with someone else online or hotseat. This would work best whenever you compete with the other players about getting the girl, getting promoted, being popular and so on. Otherwise this gimmick would be used too quickly(Being dick to you sims get boring really fast because they really don't give realistic responses to situations) and become another chore for the player.

and become another chore for the player.

Which perfectly fits the actual Sims gameplay, doesn't it? Can't imagine a less thrilling chore than managing people's trips to the bathroom. Which makes me think, the emotion management thing could be the foundation of a slightly better Sims game.

You know, for people who get it for anything other than the guilty pleasure of building houses.

My gf is pissed there aren't enough white people in the game. Also rolled her eyes to that rocket-spaceship thing.

Also the black guy wanting to show the girl his "rocket".
Also the nose shape changing at the create-a-sim demonstration looks very jewish.

This trailer has some real subtle racism. :salute:

I suspect I will once again be obligated to fix EA's borkedness.

I still don't know why there is no ME or DA or TOR tie-in DLC. That shit would sell by the million.
