Are the Warlock DLCs any good?

 

I think they add stuff like a new unit(s), another leader, a new spell or two, etc. Nothing amazing.

Though interesting with the flash sales to try to get people to spend more on a daily basis.

I didn't actually click on the links, Did find out dx:hr was on sale and I missed it, bloody timezones.

Reckon the isaac expansion will get cheaper? (its already cheap I know)

 

It's certainly possible I guess, but given it's $1.50 I wouldn't wait if I was you, but that's just me. When things get that cheap I tend not to worry about it, especially if it's something I want.

 

I'll wait a bit longer, I end up paying stupid foreign exchange fees on crap I buy, so might as well combine it with something else, or wait until the last day and vacuum up a bunch of cheap things. It won't get more expensive during the sale, and I've got enough to keep me going for a week.

 

Somewhat related -- looks like Torchlight 2 won't be out until mid/late September as they're going to be at PAX Prime or whatever it's called. Of course you have those in denial saying they could release before and still be going to PAX but that makes no sense. Not really surprised. When I saw 'Summer 2012' I knew they would milk it every day and wait until September 20th or whenever Summer technically ends.

 

Well Hard Reset, Raven Shield (keep losing the damn discs) for me so far. Good price for CK2, shame I already have it, heh.

New flash deal = Force Unleashed 2 lololololol. Also looks like it's 12 hours long so, at least for us blessed Kwa-folk, we don't have to stay up all night monitoring the flash deals.

 

Still gotta stay up for at least 3 more hours to round out the flash deals and new community vote!

Checked out Rayman Origins, too. Only did the first two levels but it gave a damn fine impression. Secrets and tons of collectables, and the game's pretty as hell. $15's still a bit pricy but I can tell I'm gonna enjoy it.
Also snagged the Bard's Tale remake (It was $2.50! Tony Jay! TONY JAY!), CK2 DLC, and Warlock DLC. Definitely not a great first day of the sale for me, but eh. Surely Gaben will put that Anno 2070 pack up for $10.

 

Picked up the New Vegas Ultimate Edition.

Waiting to see if the Game of Thrones RPG gets lower before I jump the gun on it.

 

New flash sales (Since the Steam front page isn't updating) are Darksiders 75% off, and Spellforce games 66% off.

 

this flash sale bullshit's going to a cause of insomnia and workplace injuries.

Fortunately (for those in the US time zones) the last batch of flash sales are timed for appropriate sleep cycles. Next one doesn't reset until ~10am central or so.

 

Search those games. Says flash sale. It's running, just not on the front page.

 

-40% is a lot regardless. As they say, everything is worth what the purchaser will pay for it. I figured it was a good enough deal for me, patience be damned.
