Same here, except mine was about $100 (counting the $25 spent on CK 2/Vicky 2 deal from the 11th). Just about everything I wanted was discounted...although I would have liked to see Arma 2 and JA:BIA a little bit cheaper...

 

Any non flash/daily sale stuff worth getting on the last day? Thinking about that new bards tale for 75% off.

 

The new Bard's Tale is only good for the interaction between Tony Jay (the narrator) and Cary Elwes (the Bard). The game itself is laughably bad. It's a mindless top/down hack and slash with boring/filler combat.

I tried to bro, I really did. I just couldn't make myself pull the trigger on the Transmorphers. Definitely down for some CT co-op action though.

I was as disapointed as anyone with the constant recycling of the short term offers but I still picked up a few things here and there:

Trine 2
Portal 2
Toy Soldiers
both Warlock DLCs
Avernum bundle (4, 5 and 6)
Avernum: Escape from the Pit

I also bought the Warlock + other crap bundle on Amazon, leaving me with extra keys for Majesty 2 and Majesty: Gold. PM me if you'd like them.

Things I considered but ultimately passed on:

Batman: Arkham City (I bet it'll hit 75% off by the winter sale and I won't play it before then anyway)
Deus Ex: HR "Missing Link" (meh, the fact that it isn't integrated into the main game prevents me from collecting it for completness sake)
Bastion (kind of liked the demo, just too many better games that I haven't even installed yet)
Skyrim (I'm interested, but after getting burned on OB, even US$30 is too rich, I'll probably go for it at $20)

 

Wise decisions. Missing Link isn't anything special. Bastion is more like a Nintendo 64 game than an ARPG.

*This is based on like an hour of fucking around. That hour gave a really good impression though and I don't see how it could get so much worse to not be worth $4.

 

I guess my last buys of the sale were mostly games that never made it to the front page. That should keep me busy for a while.

Edit: I added up what I bought, and I actually spent $150 . That's quite a bit more than intended. On the other hand, it's 42 games, not counting DLC. It's a bit insane, anyway. I should probably imply a rule not to buy anything else until I have played what I have. Or at least most of it.

 

Too soon,it did reach 50% that is when I brought it (currently flash sale) ... would go disk but its Steam activated so its a problem either way and 50% is nice, its only going to 75% in winter or next year.

I got the Saints Row: The Third Franchise Pack that is also on flash sale now.

Oh Just Cause 2 is DirectX 10 only and ... well I guess I should run it in a few months but just saying, if you are on XP its just wasted space.

If anyone was waiting for a better deal on Saints Row 3 the final flash sale has a 'special promotion' where buying the entire franchise pack is just 80 cents more than base SR3. So it's the base game + all DLC for $13.29.

 

I hate you and my weak will. Seriously, I completely missed that offer.
