Lol, $10 Skyrim. Sure, why not. By the way the shipping was free (at least in the US) for standard 5-7 day delivery.

I briefly considered D3 at $10 but concluded I would have been a traitor to the Codex and refused! Let's face it -- only positives it has over something like Torchlight 2 is that it's prettier and uh... er... has more acheesemints? If there were an offline option I probably would have gotten it. Apparently there are actually gold spammers and bots that can hit you up while you're in a private game?

DX:HR for 5 bucks. Anyone who hasn't played it yet and still won't buy isn't a real gamer. For real.

FINALLY got the Amazon guy to price match Silverfall. Cost me a buck more to buy them individually versus Steam but they're Steam codes, I already had like $50 Amazon credit and I grabbed two of those $5 off codes.

All Total War games are now very cheap except Shogun 2, which even still has DLC coming up, so fuck that.

  11. Trying to squeeze a different nameless Russian for some bargains. One of the bargains being $14 Fallen Enchantress. Tempted at that price despite Stardock being the goddamn boring game-making devil and Brad Wardell being a hilarious asshole. I WANT TO BELIEVE.

Mostly just trying to get those Cyanide RPGs (Game of Thrones, Orcs and Men) for cheaps though.

And with that I reach 1,207 games. Still not nearly enough to keep my lead over that unchivalrous brute Bruticis who buys tons of horrible cheap DLC. :obviously:

    :what:
    :excellent:
I wonder how many of those games have you actually played and/or finished

  21. A slightly more accurate estimate would be 819 games, the "All games" listing under library which is all the individual game listings and doesn't include DLC, toolsets, etc. But since the score that matters is Steam profile page it reaches 1,207 which DOES count each DLC individually, and sometimes counts extra pieces of games like editors and crap.

But regarding your question I'd have no reasonable way of telling you, so here are the results from http://www.lambentstew.com/webblog/miniproject/steamanalysis
It of course has no way to determine if I beat a game or not, and it also isn't entirely accurate since I was playing Steam games before Steam kept "Hours played" stats forever. Easiest immediate proof of that being my 0 hours played of HL2 Episode 2 despite having a pile of achievements for it. But still probably close enough for government work.

    Games Owned: 831
    Games Played: 411
    Games Never Played: 420
    Percentage Played: 49.46%
    Total Hours: 3485.30

The much hated Bruticis' stats are much worse than mine, though Metro kicks all our asses as far as actually playing games is concerned. :obviously:

Games Owned: 240 (Steam says 366, so either analysis site is wrong or I have 126 DLCs, dear god what have I done)
Games Played: 58 (17 of them for less than an hour, only reaching menu to test if they work, making it 41 in reality)
Games Never Played: 182 (If above is taken into account, 199)
Percentage Played: 24.17% (In reality 17.08%)
Total Hours: 766.90 (But given that I have the habit of leaving games open for ages, once for a week and a half, the actual number is at MOST a pathetic 200)

Well that just confirms what I already knew. I buy a bunch of games but don't actually play them. I'd say I have a problem, but is it really a problem to love GabeN too much?

Should be better, but I blame on Steam ignoring my playtime on most of Valve's catalog, not to mention games like Civilization 4 that have both PC & Mac entriees for each expansion...
