There's only been one time where I've seen a different daily/flash discount and that was last Summer Sale with the THQ SR3 snaffu. That said, you could probably get XCom from Amazon DD for less than what you got it for on Steam. Or hell, I think Gamefly download was selling it for like $20.

$10 for Spec Ops and the two Bioshocks... just fake a US address. Learn to shop, bro.

Complete DoW1+2 for €9.99? Well, OK, if you insist.

What about Quantum Conundrum, worth the price?

It's sort of like Portal. Nothing amazing but it's been cheaper in various Amazon packs. Could probably buy keys off of people for less.

Don't think so. I know plenty of Codexers outside the US who buy there. Maybe they use paypal. Or hell, you could just buy an Amazon gift code and mail it to yourself than buy the game with the gift credit.

Amazon isn't big on taking Paypal, so they're probably just faking addresses.

It may do. It's been 50% off at a couple of places already, like GetGames, so Steam may have to follow suit.

Have yet to buy anything, either. Not looking good unless Dead Rising 2 OTR and Sacred 2 get Flash/dailies.

The only thing I bought so far was a gift copy for someone who wanted to circumvent the rules without breaking the Steam terms of service. Nothing for myself.

Both Dead Island and F3AR are much fun if played in CoOp (2-player for F3AR with a mechanic that pits you against your partner and only one of you "wins" the game and up to 4 people on Dead Island), otherwise you'd likely want to avoid them.

No it doesn't, you just need a random credit card that works and to change your Billing Address to within the US (I took some hotel in New York). I don't think Amazon particularly cares as long as they get money.
Good thing is also that you often get separate Keys for Steam games within a Pack.

For instance I got this THQ Pack for 7 dorrahs: http://www.amazon.com/THQ-Tantalizing-Medley-Download/dp/B00A3F5S0O/
Used the 3 Keys that I still needed to unlock the games on Steam and still got the others left to give away.

If you're going to get Dead Island though, better to do it on amazon. It's a bit cheaper than on steam right now, and you get the $5 credit.

I'm butthurt that so far, the majority of the steam game count I've gained during this sale has been from off steam. The only daily I've gone for so far was a few of the better Clancy games.

I'm not butthurt. That Gamersgate Bethesda New Year Collection provided enough lube to smooth out any hard feelings, and increased my Steam game count nicely.

I just hope that this won't have any negative consequences if the platinum plating of the bath tub has to be postponed.

Total War as a "flash" sale, where it should have been a main one. Fuck, look at all those DLC. Tempting, but its going to crush my budget for this year. :(

Almost got Condemned in the flash sale, but then I realized I have it already. A pretty good game though.

If past sales have been any indication they'll repeat the flash stuff as dailies.

Somehow I think the only really interesting sales (for me) are going to happen over the christmas holidays, when I'll be mostly without access to Steam and can't buy them anyway. o_O

Hmph...assuming Dungeon Defenders is pointless as single player only (correct, Codex?) there's been nothing remotely tantalizing yet. Spent all my money at GOG and Gamersgate so far this year and will probably spend the rest of my budget at GOG toward the end unless Steam gets its act together.

So far the Thanksgiving sale was better but I held off for the Winter sale. Weird.

    Dark Souls: PC Edition,
    http://www.amazon.com/Dark-Souls-Pr...TF8&qid=1356301995&sr=8-2&keywords=dark+souls

$14.99 can activate on steam, but download the game through either steam or Amazon. Redundancy? Snagged this with a gift card I had on Amazon. At that price, even though I've played it to death, is a bargain. Looking forward to new content, better performance, and crisper graphics. (Have a PS3 Controller and a laptop connected to my TV - basically a Master console)

    THQ Bundle,
    http://store.steampowered.com/sub/18778/

$24.99 for for 15 games (roughly) is pretty awesome deal. I was curiious about Darksiders 1/2, Saint's Row 1/2, Metro 2033, Red Faction 1/2, Titan Quest + Expansion (played before, but never tried Expac), and Supreme Commander, etc. Seems like a pretty good bundle!

    King Arthur,
    http://store.steampowered.com/app/24400/

$3.99, and 60% of DLC packs - runs about 2-3 bucks for all. Hard to beat fantasy/strategy/RPG-Hybrid in the vein of Total War. I hear the second one blows cock, so go with the first at a great price!

    King's Bounty: Armored Princess,
    http://store.steampowered.com/app/3170/

$9.99, or Platinum edition for $17.49. Fantastic games that many of you have already played. Great price for them too! Hard to beat.

    Mount & Blade Collection,
    http://store.steampowered.com/sub/14259/

$8.74 for the entire thing! That is the epitome of "Majestic." Or if you prefer individual titles from the collection, they can be had for less!

    Bioshock Collection,
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1400305362&pf_rd_i=229575

$9.99, can activate all on steam! Redundant downloading for the end of the world dipshits.

Borderlands, Duke Nukem, and The Darkness 2,
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1400305362&pf_rd_i=229575

    $9.99, all activate-able on Steam.

    Feel free to add more.
