Don't want to burst your bubble, but the lightsabre duels in jedi knight are shit with mouse and keyboard. Manageble, but shit. It would be more effective with a gamepad.

You momos are comparing apples and oranges. Overgrowth is just a straight-up physics fighting game. Kenshi is an open-world exploration/management RPG. To say one is better than the other is pointless. Although obviously I'm looking forward to Kenshi more. That said, I hate playing alphas and betas, I'd rather wait for the full release which probably isn't for another year and a half.

A game which, ironically, splits its gameplay into two types, RTS and hack 'n slash, and does it poorly so that both feel half-assed. NS2 is basically Savage done better.

ns2 is a shooter not a fighting game. and savage is actually one of the few games where two different genres are fused and the game is not shit as a result.

And ironically Overgrowth will likely be rated at least 18+ due the the excessive gore and violence. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Uh-huh. You keep telling that to the empty servers.

It's a shit game that almost nobody wants to play.

if empty severs were a sign of a shit game a lot of MMOs would struggly much less at launch day.
if full servers were a sign of a good game, I would have countless RTS to chose from.

savage is over 10 years old.

I know of Savage. I just found the addition of it in your argument ironic, so I was going to give you the benefit of the doubt that you meant Severance. Oh well, guess I shouldn't have.

And Savage 2 released in 2008 as a F2P game, yet it barely managed to hold its community together for more than a year.

Full servers are not indicative of a good game. CoD and BF3 are testimony to that. However, if very shortly after release nobody is playing your game, that indicates a problem somewhere.

Savage 2 is or was an excellent fighting game. The disintegration of the community is S2games fault, they mismanaged the game and the community. Some people still wait on their tournament price money.

Entirely different ballpark/you don't know what you're talking about.

So people don't play the game because of mismanagement and not because the game is unsatisfying? Because the latter is why I don't play.

Any good bargains in that indie sale? Binding of Issac's cheap, but assume everyone has it.

Well, price-wise there's the Sherlock Holmes adventures pack. Each game costs the same as the whole pack if bought separately, sounds like a super discount. No idea about the quality of the games themselves as I've only played the "VS The Ripper" one for a short while.
