Nah, the source of the problem is the bundle package being overpriced in the first place. Note that it would be cheaper to buy individual items even before the discount.

I also grabbed Mars: War Logs. I don't even know why. Thinking about Geneforge, but it would be stupid to buy a (yet another) game which I won't have time to play in the enxt five years at least, wouldn't it?

Apart from Disciples: Reincarnation pretty much all other games have been in some bundle.

Also Prince of Persia titles for 2 euros each.

Finally. The series had been left out during the Ubisoft weekend. Which titles are the best actually? Is there a need to play some of them in sequence?

The original trilogy is good. Sands of Time still remains my favorite of the 3. It had a colorful pallete and the story and characters were nice. The second one improved the gameplay tenfold, but went all grimdark. It's the only one of the 3 I was too annoyed by to finish. The prince just never stopped whining in Warrior Within.

You don't have to play them in sequence, but you're going to be a bit confused if you don't.

PoP 2008 and Forgotten Sands are both competing for the title of worst PoP game. PoP 2008 is actually PoP: The QTE Adventure and Forgotten Sands just bastardized the original trilogy. You can skip both of them.

Prince of Persia is still an awesome trilogy that's very fun to play. But Yahtzee hits the nail on the head with his analysis: each game after the first takes one step forward and two steps back. Warrior Within fixes the combat and messes up level design something fierce as well as screwing the characters. Two Towers undoes those problems then creates more. Watch Yahtzee's reviews, really. Mostly he's not that accurate but I agree with him on PoP.

I'd rather risk playing a shitty game.

Byw, in case anyone is interested in Forgotten Sands, the deluxe edition gives an extra copy of Sands of Time.

I actually enjoyed the last PoP for what it was. It looked nice, ran smooth, controlled well and was more hopping platform fun. I find the original Sands of Time hard to enjoy now because of fucked-up camera control, so the modern one is a substitute in that regard.

It's nothing special of course, but for a few bucks I think it's worth it.

Nonsense. He definitely wasn't in Sands of Time. He was actually very light-hearted considering he was responsible for releasing the sands of time which turned the entire castle, including his father, into monsters. The entire tone of Sands of Time was actually light and colorful. It was only in Warrior Within that the prince suddenly turned into a whiny faggot and they changed the entire tone of the game to bleak and oppressive.

Sands of Time is one of my favorite PS2-era platformers. I actually started playing it again earlier today.

Okay, figure I'll do my civic duty and mention it here as it involves Steam keys: Looks like there's a Daedalic sale at Gamefly, and if you use there current coupon code MAR20OFF at check out it's possible to pick up Blackguards at just a bit more than half-price... but of course YMMV as I'm seeing it in in US monies...
