It's also been like $1 on GOG a bunch of times. That's where I own it.

    Steam version is far superior.

"Steam version" implies there could be games outside of steam. Please.

All Gaben worship arguments aside Steam often fucks with the ability to tweak and fuss with older games, from what I've read. I'd veer GOG's way on older shit for that reason even if I couldn't care less about DRM.

You must be watching different videos than me. Judging from the videos that I have seen, women love sucking cock and black dudes like fat white women.

First Sacred had a nice engine, but the only part that can make a h'n's game slightly enjoyable - pimping out your dude with loot and skills - is nothing special. I worked on the localization of the second one and I don't remember a thing about this game, it's one of these titles that, while there's nothing really wrong with them, embody the "meh".

Speaking as someone WHO loves H&S games, Sacred is boring. Avoid, even at massive discount.

Sacred got a lot of very funny easter-eggs and in-game jokes & original quests, like the great
    Show Spoiler

dragon eggs quest, where the eggs could be used as food to feed a village
So that sets it aside from other Diablo clones IMO, and I did like the set items plus the different starting locations of the characters. I'm talking about Sacred Gold here.

Might consider buying Thief: Deadly Shadows. I finished it years ago but found that there is some FM like King and Queen.

Or maybe pass it and wait for GOG Square promo, in case they make troubles with Dark Engine 2.0 patches/fixes I forgot about latest update so you don't need to do abrakadabra with game files in steamed version...

Sacred? From reviewer point of view (welp) it's solid game. But it bored me to tears long before Torchlight killed my likeness to h'n's genre.

Maybe that Dungeon Siege that is needed for the Ultima mod ? Would that work with the Steam version ?

All that sale page did was remind me to be pissed that only the Director's Cut of Human Revolution is still sold.

I wish Steam would ban those early access scammers.

It supposedly gives access to all future expansions and DLCs, so it might be a good deal if one likes GalCiv?

I've heard it's basically the second game again, so... yes? I dunno. I thought the second one got boring and quit halfway through.

Doesn't have the same voice actors but it's just more of the same. So, if you really want that... sure? If you didn't finish the second... why bother?

While those voice actors did nail their roles I dislike the idea they can never be replaced. Shit happens, other people can be good at it as well.
