wow, i remember hearing about this game years ago after researching enigma engine games. the iteration that blitzkrieg 2 uses, which is what this game uses, was originally developed for arcadey, beer-and-pretzels RTS games, so i wonder how it'll hold up here
I've never heard of this game and I was wondering why. Found a few old reviews and judging by them, the game is utter and irredeemable shit.

If anyone wants something decent and post-soviet, there is Planet Alcatraz for example, Silent Storm, etc.

Interesting looking thing. Dark Moon, a survival strategy game set on the Moon where you're running away from deadly sun rays with walking mobile base:

EMBRACE THE DARKNESS
Dark Moon is a survival strategy game where time is working against you. With the Moon’s electronics down it is up to you to traverse the lunar soil and try to make contact with Earth while managing your crew and resources. You will never know what you will encounter along your way, thus be prepared to make crucial decisions and live with the consequences. Whatever you do - don’t go into the light!

As a member of the Engineering Council sent by Moon Shell, your task was to oversee the construction of a newly developed mining system on the Moon. The simple objective changed dramatically when a massive solar storm hit the Earth, destroying all electronics in its wake. Soon after, you witness the Sun's scorching heat as the Moon's main communication relay falls into the light. You are alone, and now everything within the Sun's reach is gone within seconds. The light is your enemy and the darkness is your salvation.

DM_GIF_READY_1.gif

SOLAR PRESSURE
The Sun is destroying everything it touches, you must avoid its radiance. The Mechaplex - a giant, general-purpose engineering vehicle will stand as your base of operations. It will also serve as your getaway vehicle, thus plan your actions accordingly and escape the tireless enemy. You must constantly move forward.

NON-LINEAR SURVIVAL
A different experience with each playthrough as each location and event may bring unpredictable results. Scan the terrain and obstacles with your drones to prepare for what lies ahead. Embrace or beware of other survivors who will want to join your convoy. Gather minerals and use their properties to increase your chances of survival.

MANAGE YOUR MOBILE BASE
The Mechaplex is your means of survival; build new buildings on top of it, research new technologies, enhance your crew's abilities, and traverse the lunar plains. Develop new mechanical prototypes that will enhance your mineral gathering or focus on enhancing your convoy's movement speed to elude the Sun's deadly grasp. You can't stay in one place for too long.

IMPACTFUL DECISIONS
You are not the only one who is seeking a way out of this disaster. New crew members, some even pilots such as yourself, can join and bring you valuable abilities and new building platforms, but you have to feed and shelter them. Will you help the unfortunate? Or will you look out for yourself and not risk being betrayed? What kind of person are you?

CREW RELATIONSHIPS
Keep in mind that your crew will react to your decisions. Some members will dislike joining with someone from a rival country while others will embrace him. Decide to throw out a popular member and you may risk a revolt, which may have dire consequences for everyone.

Reminds me of Frostpunk. This is also developed by Polish studio.

That Japanese hacker girl with school uniform though.

I have downloaded Haven and will try it today. It's from the people who made Furi, so expectations are high.

Woflire's well-received short gun nut FPS Receiver gets a sequel:

THIS IS NO ARCADE SHOOTER, THIS IS 100% GUN MECHANIC REALISM
Receiver 2 simulates every internal part of each firearm based on manufacturer schematics and gunsmithing resources. Learn exactly how each sidearm works, including how to load and unload them, clear malfunctions, and operate their safety features.

NOT YOUR ORDINARY FPS
You won't find any loot crates or bullet sponges here. Every enemy can be destroyed by a single well-placed shot, using ballistic simulation based on data from shooting incident reconstruction textbooks. Practice the Receiver virtues of resilience, focus, and courage to resist the Threat.

FEATURES
  • Sidearms modeled down to every spring and pin
  • Enemies with physically-based damage models
  • Ballistic modeling of ricochets, penetration, and bullet drop
  • Train your mind to defend against the Mindkill
  • Become literate in how guns actually operate
FAQ
What is Receiver?
We created the original Receiver game for the "7-day FPS" challenge to explore gun handling mechanics, randomized levels, and unordered storytelling. With Receiver 2, we are doubling down on the aspects that made the original stand out: the detailed firearm controls and the tense, surreal atmosphere.

Why are you so obsessed with guns?
Love them or hate them, firearms are everywhere in our culture. If you want to understand it then you must understand them as well. While many games include firearms, we felt it was time to have a game that is actually about them.

Are there people or animals to shoot in Receiver?
We don't believe so. All our information suggests that the Threat will only dream killdrones to attack you after the Mindkill, but there's no way to be sure.

How is Receiver 2 different from Receiver 1?
Receiver 2 has the same basic gameplay structure as the first, but more of everything. There are many more sidearms available in Receiver 2, and while Receiver 1 simulated several moving parts for each gun, Receiver 2 simulates *all* of the moving parts.

Does Receiver 2 have online multiplayer or VR support?
No, Receiver 2 is designed to be a single-player experience played on a monitor with a mouse and keyboard.

What is the Mindkill?
You are not yet ready for that knowledge. Only a Receiver who has truly Awakened can understand the nature of the Threat.

I think this one has not been mentioned yet:

A metroidvania (another one) that does look actually fun. It's made by Catalan people, but unlike the hipster-friendly Gris, it actually seems like it has gameplay. It also has unsubtle jabs at the current state of the game industry.

Suzerain, text-based political RPG where you are the President, set in fictional 1950s:

As President Rayne, lead Sordland into ruin or repair in the first year of your term. Navigate a political drama story driven by conversations with your cabinet members and other significant figures in a country with its own complicated history. Beware or embrace corruption; shirk or uphold ideals.

banner2.png

Sordland has been under the leadership of Colonel Soll for over two decades after he ended the bloody civil war. Now in 1954, Soll is gone but his political party is still in control of Sordland — until a charismatic young man, Anton Rayne, surprises everyone by rising to the top of the party and getting elected as the new President of Sordland.

The people are hungry for democratic reforms after decades under a traditionalist power. The economy is in shambles and the political landscape is shifting. Neighboring superpowers are watching us closely, and there are military threats on the horizon.

Can you pull the country out of its recession? Will you meet the demands of your people for reform? The future of Sordland depends on your choices.

banner3.png

Immerse yourself into a deeply intricate text-based political drama.
Navigate countless intricate conversations and unique moments in this 200K-word story with branching paths.
Lead the fictional country of Sordland in 1954.
Can you keep Sordland out of war with the encroaching nation of Rumburg? Can you launch and complete a new mega infrastructure project? Can you fix the welfare system? The responsibility falls on your shoulders.

RotatingCity.gif

The story is new, but the issues are familiar.
Tackle difficult choices on immigration, healthcare, law enforcement, and more in this alternate world set in the 1950s. Even outside the office, your beliefs will be challenged among your friends, and your family. Will you support the Equal Rights movement? Encourage government control of the media? Maintain traditional values or embrace reform?

Do you trust your Cabinet?
Work closely with your Cabinet members to forge strong policies and practices for your government. But remember: everyone has their own ideals, and agenda. Pick your allies carefully, and your enemies even more carefully.
banner_characters.png

You cannot do everything. Every choice has consequences.
Your Cabinet will advise you on all matters, but you cannot please everyone -- sometimes you can’t even please yourself. You will have to make sacrifices, be they moral, political or personal.

MediaConversation.gif

Which is more important, your country or your family?
It’s challenging to be a good father and a good president at the same time. Can you do both? If not, which one will you choose?

There are multiple endings. What will be your legacy?
You must find your own way through the complicated political landscape of your presidency. Where the country ends up at the end of one year is determined by your decisions.

Aesthetics slightly reminds me of Tyranny's Conquest intro.

Posting this again since the devs published the 3rd campaign (with new heroes, and cards) and made it free for owners.
Unless I'm mistaken this also means that new buyers will get all the available content from the start with no need of additional DLC purchases.
I'm almost sure it works this way since right now the only DLC listed is the soundtrack.

So it's basically a meatier re-release.
Consider that I have 70+ hours logged already, having yet not even touched the newly released content.

Sounds quite a lot like a Skyrim mod, I played a while back, although I forget the name.

Edit: Heh, it was called The Forgotten City, quite literally. Made by the same guy it seems.
