Overkill. Such niche game, ya say...

From other news - Cortex Command got Steam support like Workshop, mods and other updates.
That's propably the game DraQ mentioned few months ago but not sure...

Croteam made the multiplayer component of this F2P.

How many of these are just Steam keys sold on other sites or in bundles?

I would assume the majority. However, it doesn't matter much. The top of the chart is vastly dominated by Valve titles, with a few others sprinkled in.

A more interesting question would be what percentage of total sales these numbers represent for non-Steamworks titles.

So, when do you think Valve will announce Source 2 & Left4Dead 3?

    Definitely before Half Life 3.

Gaben said they are developing it and there's some leaked screens, but in what state of readiness it is, no one but Valve knows.

They could announce it any time, from E3 next month to a couple of years from now. No one knows.

As said above though, I would bet my ass we see Left 4 Dead 3 before Half Life 3. I don't think Valve has much interest in a purely singleplayer game anymore.

Well to be fair there was the deathmatch component of HL2, but that doesn't seem to have gotten much traction.

No purely single player games. Which probably means HL will have a co-op portion like Portal 2.

I don't see the issue. Good way to gather feedback and get free testers out of those who want to try the game before it's released. And if the devs are too retarded to listen to all those who ask for co-op and romances in every game possible, they're not worth sensible people's money who think what they buy.

In conclusion: Don't be a retard when buying games.

Valve is the saviour and the cancer of PC Gaming at the same time.

No, Valve is like a bomb waiting to go off one day. You all better hope Gabe doesn't die of a heart attack or something and Valve gets bought by EA/Activision/etc.

Well it's kinda like saying "Apple is the saviour of mobile phones". Of course, I don't think Brian Fargo was too serious, Steam's just been good to them, but clickbait topics are clickbait.
