Does shipping the game with uncompressed assets help the performance in any way? Assuming this is what account for the size. Because the current beta still runs like crap.

Maybe it's something to do with me having an AMD/ATI system? Granted my computer is 4 years old, but it plays most games at a reasonable framerate, Wasteland 2 on the other hand, sends my graphics card into overheating.

 

White text on a dark background does look better to me than the printer version, otherwise the "Olovski-UI" is better.
