Funny. I just posted this video, with exactly the same timestamp on TW forums today. What a coincidence.

It doesn't make much sence to me.
This person didn't show much interest in TW3 (only 1 post from 10) and create an impression of non slavic origin (WTF is Leshen?), but can't change his own IP? Why you ever want to go that far without such simple preparation?

Maybe he thought that this is one of those forums where staff is respectful towards members and would never release host info to the public without good reason. Well too bad it's: :troll:

That was the only time he posted from the CDP IP address, the rest came from some other unspecified address nearby. A slight fuck-up maybe?

It's very hilarious fuck-up in that case.
That situation very similiar to real life sleeper agents: most of the time they are normal users, but in one day they awake and begin sell you stuff.
But why Codex? If TW3 wouldn't be major disaster, there would be plenty of people, who will defend it for free. And who not like it, will play this game anyway it in order to call it shit.

It's not a matter of TW being good or bad, it's just part of marketing and every major game dev does this.

Grab the Codex by the pussy Dead State Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Kingmaker Pathfinder: Kingmaker
The funny thing is that the Codex already has a well-respected CD Projekt representative, JudasIscariot

(Yeah, he works for GOG, but still)

I don't even think it was that. I'm guessing someone working for the company was so proud of the game CDP are making, he/she wanted to share that with the Internet. 'Cause I'd imagine those companies have clear and strict policies about how to go about viral marketing.

This whole story is not that bad, if you look at it. It's probably just some accountant working at CDP, bored to death with his work and trying to dip in on the glory.

    How... naive.

Or is it? Maybe this apologetic talk means something's afoot. Maybe you are another CDP drone bent on Codex's demise! Huh?! I bet you are. You'd thought you'd catch us surprised, unprepared for your marketspeak? Puny mortal! The Great Codex is far beyond your pathetic mind to grasp, let alone trick into compliance! The moment you entered its grasp you were lost...

    MWAHAHAHAHA!!!

CD Projekt is a far larger entity than CD Projekt RED, the game dev studio. Chances are the guy has about as much to do with the people making TWitcher as a retail bank manager does with a trader in the investment banking branch. It's good that potential sources of bias are being made clear, but assuming it's a viral marketer or dev with only this evidence is a bit premature.

Pft, what a mess, feel silly now. I'm a longtime reader, but a newbie poster; let's be honest here - I didn't post anything that would increase your attention towards TW3, just the post about Leshen being pasted in the screenshot wasn't true, that's all. I actually joined the forums because I happen to be a big fan of older RPGs. I accessed it during my worktime - sue me.

And to make things clear, I'm just an intern at CDP RED :)
