    Nah, it actually does look a bit unusual and not a lot like we see in games today. A bit DarkSoul'y with that mask and relatively believable proportions.
    For a king of Wild Hunt though, there is surprisingly little of a "hunt" in him - no skulls or pelts or animal companions or any other ancient world attributes you'd find in characters of that style.

    The King of the Wild Hunt looks better in the game engine than in that artwork. I still prefer the TW1 version a bit more. Anyways I really like the art direction, most locales and creatures/armor (except perhaps said King of the Wild Hunt) look very folklore-ish rather than the usual BEHOLD MY SHOULDERPADS look that plagues fantasy nowadays, or other bland, generic designs like the ones in Dragon Age.

    I enjoyed the second game, this one looks to be at least as good as that one, so I am hopeful. They may not be a "True RPG" holy grail but I really enjoy the Witcher games.
