Which would work better than what we get because hey; if nothing else Garrett is a professional and someone soiling his good name simply won't do. I suppose that's a legit way of "making it personal" instead of forced emotional investment over his dead apprentice and social justice for the misbegotten dregs of the society fighting the 1%. But then again, I suppose you put more thought into that idea than Ubisoft did with Thiaf.

It would seem that they finally temp banned Heresy from making retarded comments. But it seems that they also took down our very own Alexofspades. Just another shit day of piss poor moderation by Jerion I would guess.

Eidos is playing petulant child, they refused to do an interview with the Polygon editor that wrote all that horrible nasty truth about Thi4fs development struggles!

Come April these idiots will be out of a job and begging to flip burgers and bring Jade Raymond coffee. But it should make for interesting reading once the shit hits the fan and fingers start to be pointed when Square Enix banzai charges them to find out what the hell happened with all their Yen.

Is that so? I mean, I am asking because I haven't seen any indication of that. But if that is so, than we have even more to laugh at inept designers of this thing. :negative:

It happens when you press the "AWESOME!" (aka Focus) button.

But still Garrett isn't a super fighter, with 3 or 4 guards you're alright but more is too much

I wanted to jab my monitor at :59 when the fence asked "Are you sure you're up for it?" and NuGarret just smirks. It was only a second but it rubbed me the wrong way. It reminded me of those Goth kids from South Park with no sense of self and projected shallow brooding, dark and mysterious personas to compensate. That smirk told me "Psh, a bad ass master thief can handle it. This pleb should already know this self evident truth, so I won't say anything!" That brief moment encapsulated this adolescent eye shadow turd muffin that is NuGarret.

Garrett's face looks really awkward. Why is he wearing that pulled down mask/scarf that constantly covers everything below his chin? Does NuGarrett have throat cancer and wants to hide it? Reminds me of the late Roger Ebert (RIP)

NuGarrett has a high pitch voice, so he strangles himself with a scarf to sound more manly. Omg such a deep conflicted story of identity struggles!11!

You know that when a game developer add a xp system on a game that really don't need it, it is because the basic gameplay is so boring that people wouldn't pay attention if not rewarded with something
, even by abstract points that just make a ridiculous easy game slightly less difficult.

"Stealing is my way of life. It sets me free in the night" - I'm getting furious when I hear those bullshit lines. Let's not even talk about the obvious fact that this Stephen Gallagher bloke is a terrible, terrible hack of a writer.

What irks me is how they present Garrett as some kind of hipster who embraces thievery as a zen-like life philosophy. There was nothing of that in the original games. Stephane Royal (or whatever the guy's name is) has hinted on multiple occasions that NuGarrett is driven by an ambition of self-improvement and performance typical for athletes, with the very act of stealing bigger and better loot being some kind of almost orgasmic experience for him, like improving the world record in 100 meter sprint by 0.0023 seconds is for Usain Bolt.

Again, there wasn't even a hint of that in the previous installments. Stealing came easily for Garrett because he had a natural talent for it and enjoyed an exceptional training by the keepers. But he seemed to have a rather pragmatic take on the whole deal. Certainly Garrett enjoyed his job, but that's what it was - a job. Or a trade if you like, the only trade he knew and that could earn him a decent living. He certainly didn't strike me as someone who could be bothered to collect trophies of his exploits in his (TOTALLY NON-OBVIOUS CLOCKTOWER) hideout.

  24. Hey Eidos Montreal, if you rape, make a good rape.

For example, use this instead of that dubstep crap:
