Highlights:
- Anderson and Boyarsky touched every piece of art
- Deathclaw came from unused Baldur's Gate asset for a tarrasque
- Boyarsky "Jason was the glue between the art and programming...we could not have made the game without him":cool: he figured out how to code art into the engine's hex-based isometric projection. Engine called Maya?
- :Mfun fact:M Cain was Interplay employee #42, Boyarsky #88
- Anderson and Boyarsky came up with the game's ending. Cain's original idea was to have the vault throw you a party
- Cain put on headphones while working, listing to darker and darker ambient music. Large parts of the Fallout's soundtrack is inspired by Ambient 4: Isolationism.
- Cain send his favorite songs to Morgan, telling him to make the soundtrack like it
- although inconsistent with the 50s tone, Boyarsky wanted leather armor so the player could look like the Road Warrior
- being dissapointed they could not get the rights to "set the world on fire", Boyarsky and Anderson shifted through hours of 30s and 40s music. Towards the end, they realized that "Maybe" sounded exactly similar to the above, and fit Boyarsky's wish to mimic Dr. Strangelove's ending
