It is not what he implies. He is just angry (maybe a bit butthurt?) that he did not have as much of an influence over Planescape: Torment, as he would have liked. That is all. Whether it'd been for better, we will never know.

Pity, Thorwalla was widely overlooked and dismissed by major press, which is not a big surprise when you look back at it. Not much people recognized him for Torment or older games, and he did not think at all about prior-to-kickstarter marketing campaign (or again nobody gave a fuck from the press). Also his goal was simply unrealistic - which tells a LOT about his "market recognition" etc..

 

I think we are going to be last cast off not first, but it would be hilarious to see all those people whinning about character look and gender and race and other shit like that getting such monstrosity.

On http://tormentrpg.tumblr.com/ it says Last Castoff Statuette. Not only it the First Castoff but also likely the first statuette, or am I missing something.

 

LCO is angry and she's not supposed to be a sex symbol.

 

The characters look great. Fuck anyone who complains; I'd be happy playing either of those characters in the game.

 

About time. They haven't updated Kickstarter for like 4-5 days which is surprising for such a successful project.

 

Exciting news eh? but is it MCA exciting, or social pets and ingame weather exciting.

 

I wouldn't take weekends off during an active Kickstarter campaign, certainly not the entire team for the entire weekend. If I did, I'd prepare material in advance to post on Saturday and Sunday. I'm not one of those people who demands constant updates, but the weekend is likely a better time to drum up interest than during the rest of the week.

 

Since this is a kickstarter project and funded by fans InXile takes their backer feedback very seriously. Changes have been made to the default character appearance as a response to the overwhelming requests for a better looking main character. Colin McComb claims that this does not compromise the original vision and that it fits perfectly with the themes of the game.
