hiver, I found the courage to read your last crappy post. Remnant of technology is still technology you dumbass. The technology of controlling one's brain is still there, as well as the network sattelite. This is enough for any superior entity to figure out how to use, and even mass reproduce.ANd guess what, they've figured out how to alter the fucking fabric of reality. I find it hard to believe that they couldn't figure out the remnant of cyber bullshit civlizations (compared to reality distortion) stuff.
The AIs are still here, controlling swarn of nanobots, and I would find it difficult to believe that wannabe philosophers like these fat writers won't jump on the occasion to feature complex, sentient AI. Just to give us a ZOMG DEEPZ COMParaisonZ and questionning of humin vs RABOTS!!!!!!! Like the Mass Feces newfags.
Your condescending tone makes you fail much more harder, because it turns out you're full of crap.

Two different motivations I believe :
Miss Winter : is having her period.
Me : I started to be impolite in response to her rambling of insults and bad mood.

A lot of things can change based on the different situations we're handed. We arrive at different conclusions, opinions, ways of thinking based on the experiences we've had, which can obviously vary from person to person. But I think the biggest changes that occur to people do not happen simply because they want it to -- they just react, sometimes because they must.

You started by being a complete moron and you continue to do so in apparent never ending stupidity loop of epic proportions.

I've been picking my nose all day, yet I have the feeling I've spent my time better than those two.

Don't you guys want to let yourself some room for when actual informations are released instead of going bold-capslock-fontsize7 and retarded png all the way over nothing?

You didn't needed to wait until diablo 3 would release to tell it would be a failure.
They released enough information to back What I wrote. They just needed to confirm to technological level and presence of Uber minds.

    o_O

Apparently there's no need because we can extrapolate and assume all of the setting's and story's flaws already. It has high technology and trans-dimensional beings, ergo it's just as bad as Mass Effect. QED.

Apparently bald caps font size 7 was too small.

And do you whiny bitches have anything to say about the theme of this thread or do you just go around and drop into threads to complain when discussion is not up to your high standards of picking noses all day?

Oh, I'm interested in the topic of the thread and could probably even answer or at least talk about some concerns since I know more about the project than anyone except inXile's own staff (and Monte & staff, obv). But this thread's topic is Torment. The actual *subject* for some pages now has been a pair of guys holding a shouting contest about science fiction in general and how much you can or can't assume at this point. That I have less interest in.

Frankly, I don't see any real point in discussing games that haven't been released yet.

We're not some steering committee that decides the general direction the makers take.

For the few who keep those threads alive for years and years, I'll have to repeat my earlier opinion - they are not really interested in the game in the first place. The game of the OP, or games in the first place.

I wasnt talking to you BN.
but since you felt free to analyze - no it wasnt just a shouting match about general science fiction.
it was one retard inventing stupid shit out of his stupid ass (about the setting and how bad it is) and me telling him he is a stupid motherfucking retard and then providing quotes of the motherfucking info that was released so far.

bald caps and big fonts were required.

Decide? No. Have input? Most definitely. So early in pre-production a lot is up in the air. I'm currently personally spamming Kevin and Colin with mails about how I really prefer 2D and TB to 3D and RTwP for this game. I don't think they're looking for a ton of community input in this decision, it's up to artists and designers in the end, but the target audience's opinion does count.

Does Fargo even plan on producing such a game?

I can't really hype myself for this as much as I can for WL2, I didn't really like PS:T as much as I thought I would. I guess the appeal of good writing and plot can only go so far. I'd rather Fargo try and focus on titles which emphasize game systems and game mechanics, not being dragged through another writer's story. What appeals to me about WL2 is the concept of an open-world with freedom, where you can kill any NPC and see what happens, explore any corner of the map even the most dangerous parts right from the beginning, experiment with micromanaging my party and even go back to HQ and swap out a ranger for a new one, that kind of cool openness that just gives you an arena to see how the game's systems react.

But as for titles, I'd rather some kinda "spiritual sequel" to the Bard's Tale/Dragon Wars type of game, first-person, turn-based, lots of dungeons with traps and puzzles. Also with the ability to swap out and create new party members at the Inn.

I'm sure we'll get that too eventually, if all goes well.
