OK, although my post was more just whining+warning than asking which patch is best. I think there is already a hundred such posts floating about. Having said that, balance isn't high on my priority list when using such patches. The three things I tend to look for are bug fixes, restored content and graphical upgrades. Balance is certainly a plus though, and all other things being equal I will take the approach more faithful to the original.

    PS:It's all about me.

    Copied from the other thread.

Don't be a bitch and go Malkavian this shit up. The whole bitching about they give spoilers is nonsense, you only know what you're 'spoiling' if you've already done the game and spoilered yourself if you get my meaning. Most people will disagree with me but those that have gone Malk for first time know that it's the most glorious brain fuck you'll ever receive and one of the most unique game experiences you'll ever have.

Because after your first run, you will have a better understanding of the game's mechanics, plot, factions, story and a good notion of everything.

For a first run, anything buy Malkavian and Tremere. Those classes should have a playthough of their own, preferably after you have some experience with the game.

Malkavian first. It will provide the most unique game experience. You may be puzzled at first, but it will only make your second playthough better.

Why not Tremere first? There isn't much special stuff, just the Chantry haven and extra larping with Strauss.

    Malkavian>Nosferatu>>>Tremere>>>>>Everyone else.

Because blood magic is too hardcore and people might feel intimidated by it on a first run.
