The negative points against Tribunal as a whole are some of the many bugs that the original had. Lock-ups and crashing to the desktop happened very often in the un-patched original Morrowind release. But even with the patches there were still some flaws and crashes. This expansion includes the latest patches and installs them without you even knowing it during the install phase of Tribunal. There are crashes though and games like this one that are so graphic intensive seem like they should use more of your systems RAM and Video Card Memory instead of the CPU but it doesn?t and that causes some serious issues with frame-rate drops, sluggish control of your character at times, and some sound issues. Most of the problems are due to the use of Direct 3D over OpenGL. OpenGL is easier to implement and runs smoother but since the original Morrowind was developed with the XBOX in mind it was coded in D3D (a Microsoft Standard). It would be great to see an OpenGL version on Mac OSX system but I digress.

I never got many crashes with Morrowind, but there are a lot of people that seemed to have this issue.
