They could've hired these artists for $4k/month and get this quality of art. I don't even have a list of artists that specialize on the dark ambiance, but they still would've done a hundred times better job.

So this is a VN? I kinda hoped Paradox would at least be somewhat selective with what they approve for WoD. Alas.

Nosferatu Hipsters... come on, it has to be a joke: Not only does he look like a deformed try-hard, his cap even says "NO".

Still better than the slightly ugly Nosferatu womyn of the latest edition, for what's worth.

It's delayed by a week: https://steamcommunity.com/games/1096410/announcements/detail/1700601856676166815

Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York has a new release date!

Dear members of #vamily, how are you?

We have a very important information to share! It’s both good and bad at the same time

The release of the PC version of Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York will be postponed for a week, which means that the launch will happen on December 11th, 2019, at 6 PM CET / 5 PM GMT / 9 AM PT (that’s the bad part…)

The reason behind the release delay of Coteries of New York is simple – we decided to give ourselves more time to get rid of bugs and further polish the visual side of our game. We’re doing our best to provide you with the highest quality product we can and we believe that this decision brings us closer to achieving this goal (and that, my friends, is the good part!)

Although we understand that you’re waiting impatiently for Coteries of New York for some time, we also humbly ask for your understanding and a little more patience.

With this in mind, I thank you for your amazing support and engagement and please remember that we’re always open to listen to your questions and feedback!

Thank you so much for being with us!
All the best to you,
Jacek @ Draw Distance

So have they talked about the game's linearity? I'm particularly interested in the number of endings and if they went for a more Japanese VN experience of having a true ending and some less optimal ones (+/- bad endings) or they've balanced 'em more akin to a western RPG.

Having finished it with one of the three playable characters, I get the impression that there is one "good" ending (meaning, you survive until the end of the game) plus several ways for you to die during the entire playthrough. I'm currently replaying it with a second character to see if it's possible to reach a different ending.

According to the game, neo-nazis and basement-dwellers can be Brujah too, in case anyone was wondering about that in the 5th Edition.

Also, Piracy is Wrong, even for the Kindred.
That's directly copy-pasted from the rulebook, there was a bit of a row about it from the "no nazis ever" crowd.
