Anybody know where Vault Dweller reviews for New Vegas and Fallout 3 are? Since No Mutants Allowed made some changes those links seem to no longer work

FYI: http://www.nma-fallout.com/threads/news-archives-and-more.196804/

For those of you who want to see the archives, go here for an overview of our news over the years. For articles, go here.

Articles
Any broken links like
http://www.nma-fallout.com/article.php?id=7143
can be fixed by replacing www with archive like so:
http://archive.nma-fallout.com/article.php?id=7143
This should work any time you get redirected to a www link while browsing the archive as well.

If pictures in an article are broken and a concern for you, you may have to use the Wayback Machine at http://archive.org/web/ and browse for snapshots with working pictures. As an example, compare http://archive.nma-fallout.com/article.php?id=7143 and http://web.archive.org/web/20120819124248/http://www.nma-fallout.com/article.php?id=7143
If this does not work, try searching on archive.is instead.

It's hard to stomach though, be warned.

"My first playthrough found me committed to an independent New Vegas, and after starting to work with Mr. House, I was told that the NCR and Caesar’s Legion weren’t interested in working with me. That means, unlike the original, you can’t do everything in one go."

Remember this next time you ask why don't dev add more C&C.

Comments are great too:
"What’s up with the Super Mutants? I used to love sneaking up on them in buildings or sniping at them from afar while they shot rockets at me. There are some Super Mutants in the Mojave Wasteland but not enough, and now we’re supposed to care about them–it all seems too pc."

SJWs ruining Fallout universe since 2010.

Funny how VD mentions the ridiculousness of the Railroad existing with them being one of the factions in Fallout 4.

I can live with average writing of Fallout 4 but that Railroad business just irritates me. Especially when you play in Survival mode the dissonance is strong. When you played Fallout 3 or 4 without it you could assume that the world is just "compressed" and lore-wise world is not as dangerous as it feels when you play the game; those hundreds of raiders and supermutants are really not everyday sight they are when you walk the world. But in Survival mode you do just that - survive. It's often a problem to return to settlement where you have food and water without dying because of some ambush. The world feels extremely post-apocalyptic. It has a lot of other problems - the world is still built like an amusement park with fun dungeons, but Survival limits deny you carefree exploration of all of this stuff; more importantly the game just bugs out from time to time like in my current game Preston doesn't want to be my companion; vague dialogue options do not work well with system without saves ("Lower your weapon" option actually means "Lower your weapon or I shoot right now" and leads to a fight). But the huge problem is that in a world were day to day living is impossible and travel is dangerous you're asked to care about robot rights. Or to dress as a comic book heroes.

Initially I thought that Survival mode redeems Fallout 4 somewhat but now I think that it should only played that way when you had a normal completionist playthrough, know the world and want a challenge. I didn't play Fallout 4 before Survival mode that much so it quickly devolved into running in circles gradually clearing out area and establishing outposts.
