We live in a world where we are bombarded and assaulted with various media images, tv commercials, social media pressure.

Individuality is destroyed. Man has become tool for exploatation.

What any of these things have in common with video games? Are they making us conformed or do they release our childlish spirit and need for escapism?

Video games are the least culturally conformist of any forms of entertainment in my opinion, although that is slowly changing
