    Well done, Infinitron.

Lock is just temporary? That's good. Page'll need a lot of editing as more info comes out. Let's hope fuzion gets over himself by then.

So let me get this straight? Wasteland 2 is the Ben Kenobi to our Princess Leia?

$250 buys a lot of butthurt, especially when you consider how much of it people give away for free.

It's crazy that he won't even give the game a chance, though. When people spend so much money on something, they usually rationalize, thinking up reasons why "it's not that bad" to justify the money they spent (this is especially common with MMOs)

The guy's just fuckin' crazy. No voiced party dialogue and he rages??? Fuck, Fallout 2 had only a few voiced companions, like sulik, marcus and myron... Fallout 1 didn't have any voiced companions... Is he retarded? Or am I missing something here?

He believes he was lied to, any rationalizations will have himself as the victim (and the game / Fargo as the villain)

Man, the butthurt that will flood the internet when Wasteland 2 finally comes out will be worth the money I pledged alone! If a self proclaimed Fallout fan is so butthurt because the game won't have "party banter", I can already see the butthurt shitstorm from even more retarded morons that gave their money without actually watching at least the first kickstarter video... :smug:

Well, I can't help but feel for the guy. Yeah, he isn't using his head and is to blame for his own eagerness, but I have been there too and it sucks. I am hoping he will come around once more information has come out and he realizes he has a great game to play, even if it isn't what he thought he paid for in first place.

Eh, buyer's remorse is no reason to be a whiny, vandalising idiot. Learn from your mistakes and maybe make wiser spending choices from now on.

Hmm, if hired party members would't have any personalities, what's the point in them? Would they be a part of game economics system, like in JA? I'd better create my own 7 party members instead, and give them names, roles and personalities myself.

NPCs will certainly have personalities (though how deeply characterized they will be is as yet unknown)

No, I don't think it has anything to do with voice acting. This guy assumes that since this is a game where you generate a full party at the beginning, it is therefore an ICEWIND DALE CLONE, where nobody in the party has anything to say to each other (that's what he means by "mute")

He's either ignoring the existence of non-generated NPCs, or he doesn't think they'll be deep enough for him

This. Too many people saw the words "Fallout" and instantly assumed it'd be a 2D version of New Vegas or whatever, or want every RPG to follow the BioWare formula. If you're not going to read into the game before you buy it then that's your own goddamn fault. This guy needs to be knocked down a peg or two and go back to his Lovers' Lab mods.

    Ah, lost soul then.
Landscape fanart is beautiful by the way. I'd actually hoped they would go for drawing stuff instead of utilising 3D engine..

This was such a sade tale. He pledged $250 and he didn't even know what he was pledging for. And he's not a lone case I'd imagine.

You know, Kickstarter should implement some sort of IQ test/reading comprehension test for people before they push that final 'submit' button, so that cases like this can be avoided in the future.

I'm not sure why everybody has decided he pledged 250. Couldn't it have been just 50?

Dunno, he could've pledged $1 for all we know. $250 is the sum everyone else has been throwing around so...
