It's now official, Australia is a failed state and we need the British to come back and reinstitute some plausible government and/or culture.

    I'm talking about: http://mpegmedia.abc.net.au/homepage/vi ... 2_edit.flv

It's a fear 2 review by 'Good Game'. I'm not making any comment on whether the game is good or bad - but these guys are describing it as really 'old-school FPS'. FFS - the game has quick-time events, consolised interface, consolised bars at top and bottom of screen, 'glow-in-dark' enemies and items, to name a few...HOW THE FUCK IS THAT OLD-SCHOOL!!!

What's worse is that these guys (who ARE usually that stupid) don't even work for a prviate company bribe-taking game-mag. They are part of the ABC - i.e. Australian Broadcasting Corporation - the government tv/radio statiion that exists in part to provide a counterbalance to the commercial networks and to provide a voice for those outside the mainstream. Now granted, they've fallen a long way from that job with regards to music as well, but they're still a long way ahead of commercial outlets in terms of promoting indie labels and unsigned bands etc - so it hurts all the more to see that the gaming journalism stupidity has swallowed them as well. It's like seeing that great-uncle that used to be a professor and who you respect take on dementia, and then kick you in the nuts for t he fun of it:-(

Huh? Why do you want Britain back? You're doing rather well by yourselves. Web censorship en route, intrusive law, political correctness, war on terror craze, etc... You enjoy all the benefits of civilised Britain.

Yeah, he is virtually a newcomer in the journalist scene. Such people are scoutet in the comments on youtube, by popular magazines. He is a high-priced individual.
