Read on the wii thread, someone asked about decent games, and it end up with an impressive list, theres some exceptional games amongst the sea of shovelware . Of course now you will have to post in the jrpg sub forum like the other fags too

That said theres a few promising titles still, bayonetta 2, the new zelda (not the wind waker remake) , and ill probably get oen too just for that :

I got Mario, Pikmin 3, and Lego Undercover, which seemed like the best games from Internet commentary. I only played Mario, which is pretty much Super Mario Bros 3 in HD with a few gameplay refinements, not that there's anything wrong with that. I also got a Wii controller pro.

I pre-ordered Donkey Kong and Mario Kart 8.

Now I will try Lego Undercover.

 

One assumes they play other shit on other shit.

Though I have a good friend from high school who only owns a Wii, mainly for SNES nostalgia reasons.

 

Lego Undercover is basically GTA with a greater emphasis on platforming and the humor of an old saturday morning cartoon. All in all it's a good game.

If there's a backward compatibility you can try Okami for Wii. Original art-style, zelda-like gameplay, drawing mechanics, the protagonist is a wolf..

 

I'm jelly. Personally, I think that the console will eventually flop, but some of the exclusives are going to become cult hits sooner or later.



There is a demo online and the game is coming out just in a week or two.

 

Demo sucked from what i could see, it's DMC lite with more characters to keep track of and more convoluted gimmicks.

 

There's probably going to be a new Zelda and Metroid Prime. The Zelda will be shit - but pretty, so it's worth it for the looks. Metroid Prime, though- dunno. (This is just a rumor; the creators of Prime said for years they've been working on a project that fans really want them to work on).

 

...and that project turned out to be the new Donkey Kong for Wii U!
