Diablo 2 (beating Bhaal on HC hell level SP for the first time is considered as finishing game to me - I don't plan to play it anymore)
Kingdom Come Deliverance (good interactive movie)
FTL (so many ragequits... still worth it)
C&C Red Alert (just allied campaign)
Fallout - year without it is a wasted year
Guild of Dungoneering - I like this game...
Spec Ops the line - well, not that great, still worth a play

It was a bad year for completing games for me.

I finished BGEE a few times, Siege of Drsgonspear once. I also finished Dark Souls 3 + DLCs.

Everything else, I played a bit before I either got bored or busy or decided it was crap.

Popamoles mostly as distractions with women took most of my time :

Mafia 3
Mankind Divided
Just Cause 3
Sniper Elite 3
HITMAN (new one)
Styx Master of Shadows
Life is Strange
Doom 1 and 2 again ;)
Duke Nukem 3D again!
Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes
Some smaller walking sims and pseudo 'adventure' games that I don't really count as they were just a few hours each and no real gameplay. :prosper:
Tacoma
Layers of Fear
Orwell

To be fair, I did play a lot of strategy and wargames that don't really have an 'end' in the normal narrative sense.

Also started many games and got half way or so before turning to something else with the promise of coming back to them(being an Aspie for completion I tend to grind games till I get bored and need a change. MGSV I'm looking at you! ). Too many modern games are too long with too much useless filler(sure I could ignore it, but then the game looks even more barebones without the grind).

No RPG's much to my shame, but since I started and meandered through many, I think in the next 3 months there will be a lot of completed ones.

I wanted to play through a lot of games but I just ended up playing Quake and Starcraft multiplayer as I always do. So I only beat two games last year.

:negative:

[PC] Life is Strange: Before the Storm (2017) 7/10
[PS4] Beyond: Two Souls (2013) 8/10

I didn't finish many games last year. As usual, i don't have the time, the stamina, or the motivation to finish a lot of games anymore. Growing old tends to do that to a man. I do play almost everything that gets released but i typically finish very few.

Now, for 2018, let me see:

- Baldur's Gate EE + Siege of Dragonspear
- Baldur's Gate 2 EE
- Pillars of Eternity + WM 1&2
- Witcher 1 EE
- Witcher 2 EE
- A playthrough of XCOM Enemy Within

Strange now that i look at that list, except PoE and Siege of Dragonspear, every other title was a game i had completed years ago. I need to play newer games, lol.

Continuing from the 2017 thread. Only games listed should be completed from 01/01/2018 - 12-25/2018.
  • Tekken 7 - 3rd of June

You do not simply "complete" Tekken 7. Did you get Tekken god prime online with all characters or something?
Yeah, of course fucking not. Fighting the AI doesn't count, in fact it actively makes you a worse player, and the sorry excuse for a story mode should be ignored. Bottom line. You don't complete fighting games let alone one with such an unlimited ceiling for personal improvement such is Tekken.

If I only count games I've completed for the first time in 2018 (i.e. not including replays):

- Dishonored 2
- Death of the Outsider
- Prey

As for replays,

- XCOM 2
- Doom
- Quake
- Quadrilogy run of the Deus Ex series (not including The Fall)

Probably some others there but meh. It's mostly been a year of picking at games from time to time but not really completing that many.
