I bumped an old thread about rogues in general but I think this specific question deserves a thread. For fellow rogue lovers like me, especially dual-wield fuck your shit up from behind rogues, what is THE best RPG for that playstyle? Which one made you feel super powerful, the ultimate glass cannon, the coolest assassin?

I recently finished my first playthrough of Kingmaker and my dual-wield rogue with kukris was pretty great. Especially when you get the feats that make most of your attacks crits and sneak attacks when flanking, and with kukris having a higher crit chance, it was just murder. My main character would walk up to things from behind and they'd just immediately explode half the time.

Dragon Age 2, for all its bullshit, had super OP rogues that just decimated everything in the game at higher levels.

Vanguard was the best by a mile. You could stealth, stun them, run behind them and backstab them for huge damage, use damage over time bleeding strikes for longer fights, poisons, etc. And it could manage aggro by having you use subtlety to make the target focus on the tank instead, or you could use abilities that angered the target so it focuses you and then transfer that anger onto the tank and you slip out of the fight, etc. That game was incredible. With that no longer existing, I'd go with World of Warcraft or Rift. Single player RPGs are like 30 years behind MMORPGs in terms of real time combat.
