I think ppl stopped seeing me as a newfag when I started posting obscure metal and they were impressed by my unique and eclectic taste. Anyone having trouble making the transition should post stuff liek

You could be a new poster and not be a newfag; it's a state of mind. Some people will be newfags all their lives.
However, I have only rarely seen anything good from a poster who has registered past about 2006 so as far as I am concerned, everyone from 2007 on is a newfag. If you are from 2010+ you are a double newfag and horrible.
