So I don't want to blow money on +1 stat upgrade enchantments that I'll eventually replace anyway, but I can't find any of the goddamn things so I can go straight for +2 stuff.

If you go to the herbalists in Twin Elms they have diamond (a bunch of other goods for enchantments too) for sale.
