A site that calculates the average of all scores given by a particular reviewer would be more interesting.

I agree, actually. Or find a correlation between advertising budget and review score, etc.

This would be the best actually. Then you could take the difference between the expected score based on budget and the actual score to derive an actual (still horribly inaccurate and useless) score.

about this whole reviewer score and marketing budget relationship thing

a website I'm a member of has this thing where it tries to predict the score you might give a music album you haven't rated, based on your other existing ratings and members with similar tastes who have rated said album

it would be hilarious to have this thing for the game review website that predicts what any given publication or reviewer will give an upcoming game based on their previous ratings for each degree of AAAishness, from obscene Call of Duty/Mass Effect levels to low amounts like Crusader Kings 2
perhaps with even more filtering via genre or platform
"Projected Score for: 'Dragon Age 3', from 'PC Gamer' : 97%"

Why wait until April first for a long overdue idea like this? Let us hope the reception is so good they take it in a serious direction.

I've forgotten about the April's fool and got hyped about this site. There should also be web site critic when you could give reviews various sites. I wonder why nobody though about it before.
