    According to <a target=_blank href=http://www.avault.com/news/displaynews.asp?story=2242004-143838>this article</a> at <a target=_blank href=http://www.avault.com/>Adrenaline Vault</a>, Jagged Alliance 2: Wildfire will include the JA2 source code. Don McFatridge, president of <a target=_blank href=http://www.strategyfirst.com>StrategyFirst</a> says:

    Nice, this means that even though I won't buy this "expansion", someone might use the source code to create another kick ass mod.

    Technically, Unfinished Business was a "mod" as well. Most expansion packs are. I'm not sure why there's hostility over this one when the same could be said for nearly all the other ones.
