The Jewsuit is made out of the plot matter. It's the ultimate plot armor.
It's fragmented, full of holes, and comes on or off as required by the story.

So, the innovation this time on gameplay is that you play a level on a wheelchair? Funny that playing on a wheelchair don't look all that diffrent from how the game usually plays anyway. Is it a commentary for the state of the average console scrub skills? Meaning when you are playing a modern FPS, you are actually playing a slow ass cripple with the Ai waiting patiently for you to shot it with your peashooter sounding guns to score some inclusiveness points? Nah... giving much credt for popamole, about nice gameplay trailers, see bellow and despair(console scrubs excluded):

The protagonist did happen to survive a grenade to the face in the last game though. Not to mention all the near death experiences and comes out just fine. Talk about plot armor, that nano suit would be useless. I wonder how much worse this game is going to be in comparison to the last one, if that's even possible.

Full 50 min gameplay footage without annoying chatter:

I watched most of this. The Roswell thing is 20 minutes of cutscenes, followed by a train level and an elevator level, peppered with a couple big, generic, overdesigned Nazi warehouses or whatever. There's one cool "mission control" looking room with rockets going off in the distance at the end, and the rest just looks like it could fit in presumably at any point in the game, or in the previous ones. What a fucking waste of both setting and IP.
D1P endurance stream imho.

Wait, the wheelchair is going to be a major component? I assumed it was just at the beginning. Wow. The reason I'm surprised is because I couldn't be bothered to watch the videos. Who the hell has time to watch hour long dev/press playthroughs? The idea seems boring to me. If you have that much gameplay to show off, just release a demo. Preferably, one with a save file that I can load into the main game.

But yeah, the reduced speed in shooters over the last couple of generations is pitiful. I wanted F.E.A.R., the Max Mayne series and movies like Hard Boiled to be more influential. But then ADS (iron sights) and OTS (over the shoulder view) happened. The zoomed over the shoulder view is so much better when it's optional, like in Max Payne 3. That's ignoring games like RE4 and The Evil Within, which have other priorities and use the zoomed perspective to add tension.

Also, I'm starting to think these new Wolfenstein games would be better in third person view. The dual weapons are fucking huge, taking up like a third of the picture, and the game transitions to third person cutscenes so much that keeping it in third person would make it blend together better. You can also do more crazy acrobatics in third person view. Wolfenstein wasn't always a first person shooter anyway. It started as a stealth series.

My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit.
train level was cool, and hopefully they gave the guy who made the good levels for TNO and TOB a promotion, but it's hard to judge the direction of the level design with fifty-minute footage when most of it is either walking segments or wheelchair segments, story will apparently be unavoidable for the most part. basically the more close-quarters the level design is and the more flanking it allows, the better
the new enemies seem pretty cool actually with dodgeable non-hitscan attacks, I think they might be the biggest improvement over the previous games but we'll have to see
there's way too much facestab instakill takedowns than should be allowed which makes the gameplay look like a joke, it's like playing the Syndicate reboot again. at least have me weaken enemies before I get to take 'em down. I wish there was a game out there WHICH LET YOU FUCKING MOVE WHILE PERFORMING A TAKEDOWN (Dishonored, kind of?), but such a simple thing is probably too much to ask
AI looks bumfuck retarded, much like the previous games. as the gameplay I've seen is evidently played on lower difficulties the AI isn't intended to be challenging either, but I really doubt the AI will do cool things even on the highest difficulty
the new HUD looks like shit, I miss the old font
I heard you'll get some cool abilities later on which let you push through walls like in Black (where you can destroy fucking walls with your fucking shotgun and pass through like a motherfucker) and directly ram through enemies, which is hopefully as aggressive as it sounds

This would be a pretty cool feature but I'm skeptical, pretty strange this sort of feature isn't heavily marketed on the trailers, a game where you could blow shit up like Rainbow Six Siege would be pretty good but I highly doubt it.

Yeah, as far as I can judge, I see zero innovation over TNO. Everything's the same
TNO was stellar throwback FPS, so that is fine by me.
Only thing that TNO had on its favor is that it has a proper single player campaign that isn't a bad joke and doesn't have regenerating health, the rest continue pretty much shit. The movement continues as slow as before, the guns disappointing lacking any decent impact with very few particle effects on shots, the assault rifles being the worst and the AI very, very predictable, it is like any single player arena based console shooter like FEAR 2, Killzone, Crysis 2 and 3 and the list goes on and on... On another words, ignoring all the advances on technology and innovation on mechanics made by fucking PC exclusive shooters that are 10 years old. Pick FEAR 2 or Crysis 2 and compare it to TNO, it is the same game but with improved graphix and more cutscenes, because of console stagnation.

If you compare it with shit like any Call of Duty since 4, yes, it is a decent game but it isn't any different from the others I mentioned. What is sad is that nowdays, we are rooting for shitty single player console shooters because the alternative is shitty console multiplayer shooters that are even worse.

Does the author not realize how long it takes to make a game like this? Trump has barely been in office for half a year.

The references to indigenous fascism are all pretty on-the-nose in the era of #MakeAmericaGreatAgain, but Matthies insists that the game’s fiction pre-dates Donald Trump’s rise to power. Machine Games has been wanting to take the Nazis to America since it first laid hands on the license. “We’ve been enthusiastic about that since 2011, when we were talking to id Software and we had this opportunity to work on Wolfenstein,” he says. “We came up with this idea, what if the Nazis won the war and it’s now the Sixties and they have this technology, and then it dawned on us – the Sixties, that’s when everything happened in Western culture basically! Everything from civil rights movements to the Beatles, Woodstock, the Summer of Love.

“So you have all these moments that are of cultural significance to the world, and how would that look if the Nazis had taken over and started subverting all of that? And so that was super-interesting and we were already then starting to think about all of the Americana of the era, and we quickly realised – we can’t do this in the first game, just in a level where BJ goes to the US, because it’s too big and it’s too significant for him, to have his mortal enemy take over his homeland. This needs its own game. So we were always building towards it – if we had the opportunity to do a sequel, that’s where we’re going to go.”

Bullshit. Playing into sociopolitical controversy is the video game marketing standard of our time.

Black Lives Matter, Feminism, Social Justice Warriors...if you see AAA game news there's a good chance the article is centered around these topics. I wonder why.
Fucking dickheads ruining my hobby, both the decline-enabling audience and the decline-bringing industry.

And before that he and the alt-right movement simply never existed, right?

Nazi bashing together with a socialist redneck. What could go wrong?

I still loved TNO for it's accurate portrail of nazis.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Punch a nazi. I get the feeling this game have been hijacked somewhat, even if the devs themselves seem to do some pandering.
