Grand Strategy Yet another EU4 MP game

It seems to me, at least re: Russia and the Turks, an easy peace is reached. Turks release the protectorates, and Russia doesn't ally with the Timurids. Asking for Russia to release Ukraine is absurd.

As far as the Danish/BBurg war - this one is less clear. Bburg has severely limited Danish expansion by kind of bottling them off in North Germany, but at the same time, Bburg has intense interest in Danish lands - namely the Teutonic provinces. I could imagine Danzig being the sticking point there, but if one side is willing to capitulate on that - or maybe determine that the war's goal is for Danzig, with Bburg releasing or ceasing it's involvement in the Northern German lands that Denmark desires and Denmark agreeing to release the Teutonic lands that aren't Danzig to Bburg, we could limit the scope and damage of this war.

So how about that? Peace between the Turks and Russians on those terms, and Denmark and Bburg agree to cede their interests to each other, and either agree on what to do with Danzig or fight it out purely over Danzig with the rest of the peace already written?

 

So you want me to give up everything in exchange for nothing then? Thats even less than we agreed on before he did that allying shit.

 

Basically what I was saying is honor your original agreement. You get the hordes, and I'm guessing you treat Crimea/the other horde there as a buffer zone.

Look, England is a non-factor in this conflict, and if Austria and I enter the war, it's not going to be on your side. Your early advances are pretty useless - what is essentially a white peace succeeds in getting Russia out of the Northern war and enforces your original agreement. If Austria enters, you have a war on two fronts and the Bosphorus won't save you this time.

 

My rebel hordes will stop you. Before power went out I had some 100k zealots.

If just a single other power intervenes on your behalf (and they probably don't want the ottos to get even stronger) you can stalemate or win. Don't forget merc spam.

Also, Russia has better lategame NIs than Ottomans, though not quite as op as Ghazi.

 

raw are the rebels fighting each-other? There were three occupied provinces when the cession ended.

 

I am fairly sure Austria does not want to border Russia. And France joining wont make me reconsider. But yes, everything can happen.

If I understand that right, that means if someone takes over a lucky nation after a Hotjoin this will cause him to go OOS. In other words, TURN LUCKY NATIONS OFF

Mostly bug fixes. Not much gameplay fixes and content. They really need to do something about your colonies establishing protectorates.

 

Another big one:

So simply having different DLC than the host already cause OOS.

 

BTW... This has been like the worst match I've ever played from a quality of my strategy level, but still pretty high on the fun level. Good stuff.
