    The latest hotness in roguelikes appears to be first person 3D, as evidenced by these two items I happened to stumble across around the same time. Item # 1 is a 3D version of IVAN, with the sensible name of <b><a href="http://www.attnam.com/wiki/index.php?title=IVAN_3D" target="blank">IVAN 3D</a></b>. Have a looksee <a href="http://www.attnam.com/wiki/index.php?title=IVAN_3D#Screenshots" target="blank">here</a> as it can be <a href="http://www.attnam.com/wiki/images/3/34/Patch8.png" target="blank">strangely attractive</a>.
    <br>
    <br>
    <br>
    Item # 2 is <b><a href="http://roguecentral.free.fr/smf/index.php?topic=257.0" target="blank">Tomb of the Aztecs</a></b>, a realtime raytraced nausea simulator complete with blurry SNES sprites.
    <br>
    <blockquote>YOUR MISSION: Descend to the lowest level of the tomb complex
    <br>
    and retrieve THE ORB OF POPOCATEPETL, then return to the surface.
    <br>
    <br>
    Anything else you meet down there can be considered hostile -
    <br>
    except chests. We like chests. Mmmmmmmmmm, chests.</blockquote>

    Are these graphics designed to make people shut up and stop grumbling about ascii? If so, they should work.

    would have worked better if it used the same step movement as the earlier Might and Magics.

    So it's not like Mordor; both Mordor and Demise had one, huge, fixed dungeon.

    Btw the game has some faults, for example I can't vomit in the wilderness. Why?

    Someone should brainwash that guy making Voxelstein into making a roguelike.
