Nobunigga's Ambition Awakening - Grorious dispray myrord!

Care to elaborate why this is the best NA you played? I completely missed the boat on NA series, but I always wanted to get into it (as I'm interested in the historical period). Is this the one for me to start with?

I thought he already did, and it's called Silent Legions. ;)

    Difficulty design in games

I agree with your points here Sjukob, and even more so with the one brought up in the other thread. But I don't think it's a win-win situation, precisely because of the same points you brought up -- "It requires significant effort" and "When you develop a game you have to deal with deadlines, at...

    Jettatura - a first-person oldschool DRPG

That is actually perfect game length for me.

    Jettatura - a first-person oldschool DRPG

Wizardry 1 did introduce it on the first level, but in one hallway (that wraps eventually) they gave you a hint about this behaviour (though I didn't pick up on it until I used DUMAPIC).

Incline OSR Games - Official thread

Btw, I ran Tomb of the Iron God yesterday with them (as a one-off in the middle of Delta Green campaign), and I have to admit the module is really well done. I'm not sure how good it is as an intro, but the dungeon is designed in such a way to prompt experimentation and trying out different...

    Interactive Fiction/Text Adventures for newcomers

MRY thanks for recommending Photopia and where to go next. I've never played any of the text-adventures or IF before. I did dabble a bit with Colossal Cave's Adventure (via bsdgames package on Linux), but I didn't get far, and I lost my map & notes :( Anyways, I've just finished Photopia, and...

Incline GRIDMONGER — a new free & open-source cRPG mapping tool

Excellent, thanks! Btw, this is my setup on 1920x1080, zoom level is 9, and tools pane is hidden (unless when I need it).

Incline GRIDMONGER — a new free & open-source cRPG mapping tool

Finally got some time after work to finish up reading the manual, and fire up Wizardry 1. I've remapped my 1st floor (and started working on 2nd) and I have to say, this is the pen & paper replacement I've been looking for! The only "missing feature" for mapping Wiz1 is the fact that I cannot...

Incline GRIDMONGER — a new free & open-source cRPG mapping tool

I haven't yet experienced window issues... But the again, I'm using i3 wm so I don't move my windows that much. Cool, maybe now is the time for me to take that in-depth look into nim I've been postponing for a while now.

Incline GRIDMONGER — a new free & open-source cRPG mapping tool

Alright, this works amazing! Rincewind, you've just made my idea completely obsolete! Though, I would've made my inputs more closer to vim & emacs, with motion & repeat style commands. Also I would've included support for easy rebinding and extending it with new tilesets. Thanks, now I don't...

Incline GRIDMONGER — a new free & open-source cRPG mapping tool

Was about to post the same thing, though I managed to compile it in `debug` mode only. Btw, you have a couple of PRs from me on `koi` and `nim-glfw` :)

Awesome! I'm currently trying to compile it on my Arch. Props on using nim! :obviously:
