  1. Interview DS2 is da bomb says Chris Taylor

He didn't work on Starcraft. You're sounding a lot like Volourn in this post.
  2. Interview NWN2/Obsidian queries at GameBanshee

Morgan responds to those questions like a suit / marketing drone. Don't like it one bit.
  3. Game News KOTOR2 patched

Think I read it on the Obsidian forum. Not sure. Maybe a hallucination.
  4. Volourn's Jade Empire Chapter 1 Impressions aka Fanboy Alert

The Gamespot review has gotten some negative reactions. I find I agree with it. Kasavin is pretty damn accurate where he nails the combat system of the game as being limited compared to player expectations. I expected counters, throws and simple Dynasty Warriors combos (Square, Square...
  5. Game News KOTOR2 patched

I've heard Lucasarts has no interest in paying for a content patch.
  6. Volourn's Jade Empire Chapter 1 Impressions aka Fanboy Alert

The game is *extremely* linear so far. I'm almost running on rails. Very small environments, very KOTOR.
  7. Volourn's Jade Empire Chapter 1 Impressions aka Fanboy Alert

The combat mechanics are pretty unsatisfying so far. I'm at the second town. I don't expect Devil May Cry or God of War level action by any means...but the game pales in comparison to most 90's beat 'em ups for visceral satisfaction. Better than Bloodlines, at least. I think JE might have...
  8. Interview Fallout Developer Profile: Chris Avellone

I'm really hip on the high school RPG tip. Not so attached to the 80's - those bastards got enough attention in film alone. It'd need drug abuse and teen sex to really capture the theme...so I dunno if it is possible to straight up set the game in a high school.
  9. Review GameSpy gushes over Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich

I've run into quite a few bugs. One or two crashes to desktop - no big deal. More annoying is this weird state the game gets in where certain doors don't become active, forcing you to restart the mission.
