Vapourware Greed Monger Insider Thread (drama inside)

Whoa, I thought Subnautica was built on Evolution Engine. Didn't know UW had dropped their own tech.

    Everspace - a rogue-like PC space shooter

It's a multiplayer boarding action game. Control a big-ass starship, have your buddies board the opposing ship, go capture the helm or blow the engines. Good fun, if you have enough people.

    Everspace - a rogue-like PC space shooter

AFF has been in development in some capacity for like 16 years. The product as it stands now is decent and better than Star Citizen, but there's fucking nobody playing it so it's not very fun.

KickStarter Underworld Ascendant is a disaster

"For some reason" = "because we bought a generic basement-coded inventory system off the Unity store".

After like a decade clean, I'm back to just pirating shit. Amazing.

Indie Space Sims - post 'em if you find 'em

Hell, the game itself is fully open-source now. Probably the best gift to ever hit the space sim genre and it's completely under the radar because of how turbofucked the games industry is right now from production to consumption.

    Tangledeep

Tangledeep is fucking awesome. Quick turnarounds on runs, neat and creative character class mechanics, cool system for upgrading weapons, really sweet vibes on the artistic & music side which throwback hard to the SNES era. It's a solid 9/10 game for me, honestly one of my most enjoyable...

    KickStarter Underworld Ascendant Pre-Release Thread

    It's built in fucking Unity.

Indie Space Sims - post 'em if you find 'em

It's a real pity that they got on Steam after the garbage fire landslide had already started, and subsequently sold virtually zero copies, because the game itself is super solid.

    KickStarter Underworld Ascendant Pre-Release Thread

The saddest part of this saga is the very obvious form of Garret perched in that poster, as a final reminder that lightning really can't be captured and the legacy of Looking Glass is dead even with those who built it. What a time to be alive.

Indie Space Sims - post 'em if you find 'em

Well, Limit Theory is finally dead. Josh is releasing the source code tho.

Infiltration prototype - ancient evil simulator

Waiting for OP to become a hyper devout evengelical and bail on the project.

    KickStarter Underworld Ascendant Pre-Release Thread

Considering Spector is a hack who has only ever had projects saved from his asinine ideas, it is unlikely. Go read the design docs for Deus Ex or any other classic he was involved in. The man was a dumbfuck saved by more talented designers working under him. Is it any wonder he crashed and...

Kenshi - open-ended sandbox RPG set in a desert world

There's some wild and crazy shit out there on the world map, as well. I feel sorry for people who never leave the starting desert, I haven't felt a similar "alien in an alien land" vibe since Morrowind, really, and it all reminds me of The Book of the New Sun in a fashion. Good shit, good shit...
