  1. ELEX ELEX II - Jax is back

That actually crossed my mind while typing the post. But Gothic III's problems are of a different order than Elex II's. Back then, Piranha Bytes had ambition, they made an excellent map, beautiful music, enemies that weren't always hostile and interacted with each other. They overreached and...
  2. ELEX ELEX II - Jax is back

Finished it today. Fairly entertaining, but overall a forgettable experience. The writing towards the end was hilariously bad though. Especially every bit where your son, Dex's involved. My favorite part was when he gives you an amulet. But if you it view it in your inventory it reads something...
  3. Torment If you could unplay an RPG, what would it be?

Oblivion. I spend way too many hours before grasping how shit it's really systems were. Made me feel empty afterwards.
  4. KickStarter Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Dan Vavra's medieval chad simulator

I like how the game accounts for it when you do manage to get a horse before you're provided one through the storyline.
  5. KickStarter Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Dan Vavra's medieval chad simulator

If you put stolen loot in your stash, after a while it becomes 'normal'. You can either sell it to a vendor (they pay a higher price than a fence) or wear it yourself. I think the more value an item has, the longer it takes for it to lose the stolen loot trait.

    1. Get all the patches and fixes you can find; unofficial patch, the new parallel universe patch. Additional content can be nice too, albeit the voiceacting is amateurish. German voiceacting is slightly better than English. The consequenses mod is probably my favorite of the fan created mods...

  9. The most particular way to play an RPG according to you

This is what people mean by playing 'hotseat', right?
  10. How was your first time?

Moonstone on my older brother's Amiga. Great little action rpg with good gory combat and hotseat multiplayer. Check this website if you haven't tried it, or want to indulge in some nostalgia. There's a prepackaged file that launches the game in an Amiga emulator.
  11. ELEX ELEX RELEASE THREAD

Was just minding my own business, killing stuff left and right, doing some storyline quests, then all of a sudden Ray's brother is a dog. A fucking dog, who sat in the background making annoying sounds while the cutscene with Ray played out. Where, despite being in Origin with the dog, we stated...
  12. Gothic Gothic is fun

toro, Did you really play through the whole game being sick? Or is it just a coincidence that in every screenshot your stamina bar is grey?
  13. On the ages-old question of whether "Gothic 3 could have been good if finished"

Sure, PB was obviously in over their heads, they didn't have the resources (time, manpower, expertise) to realise a game with such a large scope. No, just no. Locking content in DLC's is Oblivion tier levels of decline. And it would completely mess up one of the strongest points of G3: the way...
  14. On the ages-old question of whether "Gothic 3 could have been good if finished"

Given more time PB probably would have written better quests, might have implemented acceptable melee combat and probably would have released the game in a lot less buggy state. But there are some fundamental issues with this game that aren't caused by a lack of time. One of the worst offenders...
  15. Piranha Bytes appreciation station

I just might. How accurate is this review?
