Diablo Immortal - MMO ARPG for mobile platforms - massive butthurt at Blizzcon

Wow was the coolest shit ever in 2004. No question. After almost 20 years of clones the lustre has worn off though.

Iv never been able to maintain interest in mmos. Too much time for too little fun. If I did play mmos I would definitely use the boosting service. Spending 45-60 hours leveling a character just isn't fun. Some of the raids seem like a good time in an organized group though.

Keeping the "classic" servers as close to the original as possible makes sense to me but I'm not sure I have a problem with booster services as a whole. Mmos are basically skinner boxes by design anyway. At least they have been since WoW introduced daily/weekly raid rewards to keep people...

I'm not really an mmo guy but isn't selling boosted characters and cosmetics a standard practice these days? I know FFXIV has a similar service.

Nemesis Lockdown - turn-based sci-fi horror based on the board game

The game works great if your familiar with the tabletop or willing to put in the time to learn it.

Blizzard has had an extraordinary journey from making some of the most beloved PC games of all time to making skinner boxes that can't get publishing approval in nations with modernized gambling regulations. Maybe the most stunning fall from grace iv ever seen.

It's cool that this game is so bad that people think it should be illegal though. Extraordinary innovation tbh.

Even better than the press conference was blizzard devs telling the press that fans were being ungrateful. Huge red flag.

If your interested in digital boardgames that are more complex then risk and monopoly I would also recommend Root.

Warhammer Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Pre-Release Thread [GAME RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

Your assuming dicks grow commensurate with the body but iv seen gorillas up close and I can tell you that's not always the case

I'm excited to see what owlcat does with this setting. I think a lot of 40k fans like myself aren't familiar with a "softer," more relatable side of the setting and afaik very few if any developers have tried to explore it.

You're asking me why I responded to someone on a discussion forum? In this case it was to voice mild disagreement. This seems obvious to me. How did you read "I don't care about color pallet" as "grimdark is about color pallet?"

Warhammer Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Pre-Release Thread [GAME RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

I dunno man iv played a lot of Warhammer franchise games as well as the tabletop and I can't remember any narratives about townsfolk going about their lives or something similar. It's pretty much all death all the time. Maybe that stuff is in the books for the hyperdorks to read but I'm not...
