Dark Envoy - guns n' sorcery RTwP RPG by Tower of Time developer

Playing the game now, it's a pretty fun mid game. It's like the concept of dawn of war 2, executed to play like dota

Pathfinder Pathfinder : Kingmaker VS Wrath of the Righteous. Which one do you prefer?

Wotr is much more bearable companion wise if you just don't take any of the good-aligned ones. Sending Seelah back to Compton and getting Regill in makes the game 100x better.

Game News BioSynth: Rising is a futuristic turn-based RPG with robots, lasers and cyborgs, now on Kickstarter

Backed. Now we wait for a suprise in 2-3 years when I've forgotten about it

Game News Jagged Alliance 3 announced

Looks like it actually wants to be faithful to the JA2 theme and it had 14APs in that clip so there is some hope, especially if all the cinematic cameras can be turned off

KickStarter Solasta: Crown of the Magister Thread - now with Palace of Ice sequel DLC

I did point buy builds which I think is definitely the go so you don't get completely OP early. I agree that the game does get far easier after the dark castle but there are a few challenging encounters after

KickStarter Solasta: Crown of the Magister Thread - now with Palace of Ice sequel DLC

I'm ok with the last bit of the game being a victory lap after all my characters come online

KickStarter Solasta: Crown of the Magister Thread - now with Palace of Ice sequel DLC

This game has so much potential for a sequel. The GUI is spaced out nicely so it could be skinned up to be more fancy, more classes added, more spells etc. I really enjoyed this game and I found the straightforward story refreshing and focused. It is the first RPG that I can remember in ages...

Eternity Pillars of Eternity + The White March Expansion Thread

You are a giant only in your own mind, whatever helps to keep your autism rage in check. Regardless of that, the stat system in the game is quite good and I've had fun playing around with a few different rogue builds which are part RP and part meta. The more options the merrier

Eternity Pillars of Eternity + The White March Expansion Thread

This is the most retarded shit I've read in awhile. Guess what, I play rogue in tabletop and my mates play fighter, cleric and sorcerer and I want to recreate that group ingame. Whatever stick up your arse about MMOs you have, it has nothing to do with how I want to play this game.

Eternity Pillars of Eternity + The White March Expansion Thread

What are you even trying to say here? That you'd rather run a group of 6 paladins than a diverse group that can cover all the bases

That is promising news indeed, time to give this game a crack

Eternity Pillars of Eternity + The White March Expansion Thread

I'm about to give this game a go and I want to make a dual wield rogue as my PC. Will the game give me a tank, caster and priest early game? And is it viable to play PotD blind?

Has anyone overcome their initial boredom of an RPG?

Gears tactics with a few tweaks could get alot of the way there. The presentation and combat system is top notch. However, the recruit system and side quest systems are pretty bad, I'm holding out hope for DLC or a sequel which sorts it out

Has anyone overcome their initial boredom of an RPG?

I found IWD2 super comfy but that was because I made a full RP group of retards, only played on normal and had fun making them struggle through life

Has anyone overcome their initial boredom of an RPG?

Some games just have a good hook, at the start and it cannot be overstated how important this is. The BG series have major events happen straight out of the gate and they are far better for it. Having to do chores/banal tutorials at the start of a game is just so bad for a first impression. I...
