CD Projekt's CYBERPUNK 2077 Release Thread - The Next Gen Update

I have a post on this subject (when did CP77 properly start production?) somewhere way back in this thread I said it was sometime by mid 2017 and I'll stick by it - specially given that all the shit that as come to light since then, like the "El Bugado" video Before that they were making the...

    Best inventory system in crpg?

Item managment is the responsability of the player, not the computer The point was that game has an inventory system that would work wonderfully in a single character RPG you knob But fine. If you want to be this much of a bitch boy, here's an RPG example: With just one glance I know...

    Best inventory system in crpg?

Item managment as always been a major component of RPG's due to the genre's focus on looting It's only natural that an RPG that strives for a overall higher complexity and engament of gameplay mechanics, should also do the same to its item managment You clearly never played RE4, because...

    Best inventory system in crpg?

Volume is a scalar measure of physical space, so a physical representation will always be more intuitive to work with than a statistical one (more of a continuation of the previous point) Videogames are a visual medium, therefore the experience is improved by a more visual design as the...

    Incline Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

I wouldn't say they let it die They did port the trilogy to steam last year (possiblt to renew their hold on the license and gauge some interest) and the Nioh games do have call backs to the hayabusa ninjas And when you think about it, they spent 10 years making increasingly less profitable (and...

    Best inventory system in crpg?

Not to mention it would mostly fix the broken economy of RPG's As that is an an issue caused by the fact that the PC can hoard shitton of items without any worries, since most inventories aren't finite grid systems

    Dragon's Dogma II - "They’re masterworks, all – you can’t go wrong"

Not to mention, the alternative style of gameplay for that class is the creatures being AI controlled. Like that would make it more fun...

    Best inventory system in crpg?

The game isn't fast paced enough for the inventory pause to hurt the action in a significant way And those brief moments of levity give you a chance to rethink your approach Besides OP is asking what type of inventory system is the best, not what implementation - as the flaw you described can...

    Best inventory system in crpg?

Finite Tetirs Inventory + Ability to move and rotate items (à la RE4) + Weight Limit with several status effects = Perfection /thread EDIT - OP is a faggot for trying to argue otherwise

Gloomwood - Thief-ish stealth horror game from New Blood Interactive - Early Access on August 16th

So basically classic RE in 1st person with some inspiration from Thief in regards to setting and level design? That actually sounds pretty cool.

    Dragon's Dogma II - "They’re masterworks, all – you can’t go wrong"

Since you don't like ARPG's, I would say to don't bother yourself. But to answer your question: - solid and interesting combat system - good enemy design - nice variety of classes, all with their distinct playstyles - versatile and cool magic - actually useful AI party members
