  1. Potential lessons found in the IF community...

Are there any roguelike construction sets? A construction set would enable the folks with good writing skills(like Kingcomrade) to make a decent RPG without having to master a programming language.
  2. RPG Vault roundtable, part II

Movies industry and games industry share certain similarities, so I think that this article about Lions Gate Films would be relevant to this discussion. It shows that a company with a right business approach can be successful, while targeting niche audiences. Here are some quotes: Lions...
  3. The uniqueness of character builds

Are there any combat situations where two conflicting groups of NPCs are involved? Edit: Hmmm, why would enemies try to surround the PC, if there are no penalties? Great!

  8. An Oblivion Review

Hmm... "Not 1200 compatible". Indeed you will have a hard time trying to run Oblivion on something like PIII-1200
  9. Boomtown Looks at Hearts of Iron 2: Doomsday

When can we expect this one?
  10. HAY GUYS THE NEW VERSION IS OUT

The game begins when you die. :)
  11. Which Oblivion mods are you using?

I have an idea of a mod to enhance oblivion experience. I am going to change the dull text on loading screens to memorable codex quotes about oblivion. There are many loading screens, so I would need some help with finding interesting quotes. Any quote suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
  12. Review New generation reviews Oblivion (must see to believe)

I presume that carven = cavern
  13. Review New generation reviews Oblivion (must see to believe)

I thought that too until I reduced settings to minimum The new criterion of game's awesomeness. Does AoD feature arrows sticking out of an NPC one month after you shot him?
  14. Review Oblivion reviewed by the Codex

Well, if you gather all Oblivion NPCs together and give them spears, it may have a resemblance of a forest. :) I guess that spears were cut due to limited animation budget.
  15. FO3 screens/photoshops - what's up with these?
