Vapourware Games Workshop takes the hatchet to Age of Sigmar, fans are Big Mad (TM)

Kind of weird that the Vampire Counts are missing. Aren't they one of the oldest and most iconic factions in Warhammer Fantasy ?

Warhammer Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - turn-based Warhammer 40k RPG from Owlcat Games

The "Price of Humanity" quest has possibly been fixed. Not quite sure, as I just got kicked out of the planet and can't return to it. Apparently, Heindrick wasn't supposed to give me the quest in the first place (because I blew up his demonic computer). That would have been good to know earlier...

Warhammer Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - turn-based Warhammer 40k RPG from Owlcat Games

I considered that it might be the case, but it seems weird : my save file is set before the quest even starts, so why would the patch require me to start a new game just to have a dialogue that works ? Well, I'll probably start a new game in 5-6 months anyway. Act 2 was great, but I hated Act...

Warhammer Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - turn-based Warhammer 40k RPG from Owlcat Games

Well, the big patch has arrived and the dialogue with Emelina remains just as broken as before. At one point, I get the choice between "Heinrix, make sense of this for me..." and three other dialogue options ; no matter what I pick, the dialogue stops right after that and I can't talk to Emelina...

Warhammer Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - turn-based Warhammer 40k RPG from Owlcat Games

I'm surprised that people have even managed to finish this game. I've stopped playing two weeks ago because an essential dialogue was broken in the quest "Price of Humanity" in Act IV. I've just tried again and the dialogue is still fucking broken : Emelina simply stops talking to you and you...

Culpa Innata - new adventure by Momentum / Strategy fist

Hopefully it means a game that'll use the same setting and won't include all of the things that ended up making Culpa Innata so average.

Recommend a turn based, isometric/overhead, full party RPG for me

The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk : the Amulet of Chaos. Turn-based and you control a party of eight characters. Combat is very tactical and fun.

Game News ATOM Team's next game is Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy, a fantasy RPG inspired by Baldur's Gate 1

"You take up the mantle of a lonely adventurer" doesn't exactly suggest that you control an entire party. If you do, then good ! How many members can the party have ?

Game News ATOM Team's next game is Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy, a fantasy RPG inspired by Baldur's Gate 1

How can this game be compared to BG1 or IWD if you control a single character instead of an entire party ? Seems like a pretty huge difference.

Warhammer Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - turn-based Warhammer 40k RPG from Owlcat Games

Okay, so Act 4 really is very buggy. Heinrix talking to Idira (even though she got killed by Argenta ages ago) is a mere detail, but I've started the quest "Price of Humanity" and Emelina (Heinrix' crazy girlfriend) just stops talking to me in the middle of her dialogue and won't talk to me...

Warhammer Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - turn-based Warhammer 40k RPG from Owlcat Games

What in Lolth's name was Owlcat thinking when they designed Act 3 ?!? Act 2 was fun and enjoyable, Act 3 was the exact opposite. The fights were a chore and the exploration was even worse. The Dark Eldars are just as unbelievably boring as the demons in WotR. Nothing about them is interesting...

Warhammer Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - turn-based Warhammer 40k RPG from Owlcat Games

Just started Act 3. I don't necessarily hate twists that have your super-powerful PC suddenly fall into a trap that'll leave him extremely vulnerable, with nothing but sa bite et son couteau (his dick and a knife) to face terrible dangers. But I do appreciate it when the trap isn't so fucking...

Warhammer Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - turn-based Warhammer 40k RPG from Owlcat Games

Still on Chapter 2. So far, this game is considerably more entertaining than WotR. I've just met my first genestealers. It turns out that Argenta with a heavy bolter and the right items/skills is pretty much Vasquez, except that none of the aliens can get close enough to kill her.

Pathfinder What Would You Think If Owlcat Switch to Turn-Based Only for All Future Pathfinder Games?

I would like Owlcat to switch to turn-based permanently, and also to stop making Pathfinder games.

Good PnP RPG books for reading

Planescape has plenty of good books. The Factol's Manifesto is another nice book focused on Sigil. Harbinger House and Something Wild are very creative adventures. The three boxed sets that describe the Outer Planes in details (Planes of Chaos, Planes of Law and Planes of Conflict) are pretty...
