Nice! I also have some long-ago patched version of the Exile games, and I forget where I got them from. Stumbled on them online at some point and grabbed them. They are patched to work with modern Windows and it just works! :)

Not sure Petro. Next would be probably Avernum 2. Then I guess maybe Exile 3 if the entry barrier isn't *too too* high. I can cope with older CRPGs but we'll see.

    Dark Disciples II

Well yeah, it does feel like one solid thing. It's just that some of the story content is also in the Adventure Modules, and the Modules themselves hearken back to D&D style modules. But yeah, it's certainly one epic aventure from start to where I'm at now - on the 2nd 'major' swath of land in...

Fluent Plays Obscure RPGs (RPG Recommendations for those interested)

Thanks for posting that KeighnMcDeath ^^ :) Ok, a few more since I've been digging around. Mage And Monsters - This is a nifty little autobattler where you develop your team of fantasy units for gladitorial combat. You face increasingly difficult encounters and must make the right moves to...

    Dark Disciples II

Surely you went to the Administration District, to the desk of the Deputy Of Security (or whatevs he's called) and did the 4 Adventure Modules he offers. I mean, they are just framed as modules like D&D campaigns but they are necessary for completing the game. Sorry to confuse you. I just found...

    Dark Disciples II

Yeah, this game/series is super special, wow. I'm now in the 3rd in-game Dodgysoft Adventure Module and these Modules have blown me away pretty much. There's just such a variety of unique events and interesting things to see and do, puzzles galore and a real feeling of satisfaction and reward...

Heyyy thank you so much! I can't wait to delve into this one too! Going to continue with DD2 for the meantime. I will also try to play the first game in the series but after I play 2 and 3. :) As i've said several times now I feel much the way about Rise Of The Earth Spirits as you do! Seeing...

Thanks Ludwig von Eisenthal ! Please no spoilers though about future content, thanks. :) I grabbed the walkthrough but I let my friend download it too so I can just ask him my question and he can find the answer. I can avoid spoilers better that way. Cheers! Unique and exciting puzzles FOR SURE...

    Dark Disciples II

The game is great. The only 'problem' is that if you come upon some issue with the game, you're stuck on a puzzle or something isn't right, good LUCK trying to find an answer online to help you. :-D Maybe the few of us in this thread who are playing or have played it can help each other if...

    Dark Disciples II

I'm still in the first town you visit after the intro gameplay and I'm having a blast with it. It's old school and cool yet simple to get into, with a wide variety of things to see, do and acquire. It sort of asks you to build your character via specialization a bit, whereas i spread out my...
