Firing this freak with clown hair is in fact good PR. Wonder if "xhe" is in on it?
  2. The EVE online thread

Amarr are the cavaliers. Gallente are the roundheads. Minmatar are the natives. Caldari are the civilians. :philosoraptor:
  3. The EVE online thread

We could sperg out over spreadsheets but my main point is that Amarr ships are not inappropriately gaudy for how they generally fight, alpha in all senses of the word. They're "art deco" or "neoclassical" or something, fitting for knights in shining armor. :obviously: I guess Minmatar uncanny...
  4. The EVE online thread

Amarr are armor themed and cap hungry, good for short term engagements but bad grinders (Caldari are the grinders). Their gaudy and flashy aesthetics perfectly fit their performance. Minmatar are just an uncanny valley to me and Gallente are for drone loving boomers.
  5. Europa Universalis IV

Giga Swiss don't miss. No colonies or African gimmicks. Switzerland is one of the most interesting countries because it needs sword mana for republican tradition and mercenary ideas, not just for barrage and development. For most countries, paper and bird mana are the king and queen and sword...
  6. Europa Universalis IV

Thuringia gonna ninja 'ya. Due to its small starting size, position, and extra diplomat, it's arguably the most flexible nation in the HRE, and it gets +50% chance of new heir too. With smart favor currying well ahead of time, it can ally just about anyone it wants and expand anywhere. And you...
  7. The EVE online thread

Just now realized that with a good fleet, armor tanking might just be as much of a meme as hull tanking. Slow, low damage due to low slot competition with damage mods, and bad at healing. All those kangaroo pockets midslots don't matter if you have good teamwork and specialists. Still love...
  8. Europa Universalis IV

Lorraine --> Giga Lotharingia. The government reforms that get you +2 relations slots and -10% diplo annex cost for having Burgundian culture are just awesome, but I was paranoid about not getting reelected so didn't expand in Germany nearly enough. The emperor title and its benefits are kind of...
  9. Europa Universalis IV

Just about to form Lotharingia. If you like pain (and somehow absurd amounts of money even without gold mines or good trade nodes), play Lorraine. :edgy:
  10. Europa Universalis IV

Catholic Bohemia. It's best NOT to beat up Austria too bad in the beginning, because they're basically always an Ottoman rival and that's how you get an alliance with the Ottomans who will stomp Poland for you. Becoming emperor comes later.
  11. The EVE online thread

Stage 5 corruption disables CONCORD in highsec except assisting criminals or pod killing. I'd say that's a game changer. Suppression really should have given a bonus to CONCORD response time, though.
  12. Europa Universalis IV

All they need to do is index aggressive expansion to your development so coalitions become blob killers. And there ought to be some kind of AE penalty if you're ramming through multiple offensive wars so you can make a desert and call it peace, except for pesky rebels. And adding AE for mass...
  13. Vapourware Scam Citizen - Only people with too much money can become StarCitizens! WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW MORE?

This might be kind of charitable, but Eve Online must have been unbelievably janky back in 2003, based on how it performs reasonably decently now, but still chugs in big blob battles and probably always will. There's an argument that it took nearly 2 decades for it to get polished and perfected...
